Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Rancid, Filthy, Dangerous, and Falling Apart. We were a bunch of guys, so we managed, but I would still tell everyone to steer far clear from this property. The downstairs is moldy, filled with a mildew smell. The floorboard, the ceiling, and anything between are falling apart. The walls are majorly cracking, showing foundation damage.There was bird poop inside the house, on the TV and on some curtains. We counted over a dozen stink bugs in the house on the windows and walls. The outside steps and deck are falling apart and covered in yard/tree debris. The stairs up from parking to the golf cart are covered in loose gravel and tree limbs, posing a fall risk, which did occur multiple times. The oven isn’t secured to the cabinets posing a fire and fall risk. There were no batteries in the TV remotes. There was unfinished laundry in the dryer when we arrived. The property is positioned on a highway with a dangerous turn in. We had difficulty securing a Lyft/uber that would make the turn, so we had to walk through the woods behind the property to get to a main road that was reasonable to secure a ride. The host didn’t send me check in details until I asked, after the check in time and did not address my cleanliness concerns when prompted. I want a refund, and I would recommend everyone considering the property to stay away.
