First let me say that my family and I come to Big Bear every year and stay at different places. We absolutely love the neighborhood of this cabin, it's on a gorgeous street central to everything.
The issues are more about a horrible property management company which doesn't take proper care of this property. Issues we noticed like lingering cob webs, replacing batteries in remotes, really cleaning the floors, dirty towels under beds and in drawers was a problem. The Fire TV sticks are all old and out of date (seriously, it costs $15 to buy new ones to keep your customers happy).
When we arrived at the property and tried washing dishes, water spilled out all over the floor and upon inspecting the sink, there was broken plumbing pipes and a "hack" left by someone prior to catch some water. Property management company (Monster Properties) should have taken care of this prior, but didn't and of course we paid for cleaning, service and maintenance fees.
The property manager (Michelle at Monster) was condescending and rude, and it didn't seem to bother them that the kitchen became unusable. It was more important for her to be correct than to use empathy and patience when speaking with customers.
We then also noticed the jacuzzi water was way too low, and untreated. Water was excessively dirty and discolored.
Overall, very disappointing and a reflection on owner for choosing such a property management company.
The big joke was them refunding us $100 after spending so much money on the cabin (and have stayed there in the past).
The property if maintained could be very nice, but stay away if you want a very clean and groomed property.
