This house was just as pictured. Everything was very clean and orderly. Even the hot tub was well maintained, and the water in it was pristine. I loved that every room had a TV which was each equipped with a FireStick. I highly recommend this property and would reserve again.

Falling apart
The pictures are clear - it’s not a modern insta worth cabin. And that’s ok with us. However it hasn’t been deep cleaned in a while. Everything that’s “fixed” to the walls including curtain rods, art work etc is poorly attached and kept falling off (one fell on me at the sliding back door). The towels and especially the bath mats haven’t been updated in 20 yrs. I emailed the management team as soon as we arrived and noted all the broken items: toilet paper holder, kitchen drawer etc. And that there was trash in the backyard and more. She never replied. Even after I sent a follow up. Never heard from them during our stay. Very clunky check in process- you have to go to the office to check in… only to receive a digital code for the door lock. Wasted time.
Due to the time of year upon arrival they found the back patio to be covered in leaves, pollen, and dust. Most people use the patios to enjoy the outdoors. We had to clean the back patio before using it. The other issues were bugs were coming up from between the slats of the patio and flying around our faces. I had to go buy citronella Candles. The side patio was overgrown, and a broken chair was left throw out in the weeds and dirt.
The inside of the house was great, but the patio was disappointing.

Horrible experience with property manager, plumbing concerns, not properly maintained
First let me say that my family and I come to Big Bear every year and stay at different places. We absolutely love the neighborhood of this cabin, it's on a gorgeous street central to everything.
The issues are more about a horrible property management company which doesn't take proper care of this property. Issues we noticed like lingering cob webs, replacing batteries in remotes, really cleaning the floors, dirty towels under beds and in drawers was a problem. The Fire TV sticks are all old and out of date (seriously, it costs $15 to buy new ones to keep your customers happy).
When we arrived at the property and tried washing dishes, water spilled out all over the floor and upon inspecting the sink, there was broken plumbing pipes and a "hack" left by someone prior to catch some water. Property management company (Monster Properties) should have taken care of this prior, but didn't and of course we paid for cleaning, service and maintenance fees.
The property manager (Michelle at Monster) was condescending and rude, and it didn't seem to bother them that the kitchen became unusable. It was more important for her to be correct than to use empathy and patience when speaking with customers.
We then also noticed the jacuzzi water was way too low, and untreated. Water was excessively dirty and discolored.
Overall, very disappointing and a reflection on owner for choosing such a property management company.
The big joke was them refunding us $100 after spending so much money on the cabin (and have stayed there in the past).
The property if maintained could be very nice, but stay away if you want a very clean and groomed property.
We had a great weekend staying here at this cabin. It was a great experience for the kids and the location was perfect for opening day at Bear Mountain. and 4x4 trails. Highly recommend this cabin for families.
Cabin is in a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and cozy. We wished there was air conditioning as this summer was very hot but other than that a very nice stay. We have been to this cabin 3 years in a row, it is one of our favorites in Big Bear.
The outside may be deceiving, but the inside is top notch!! Exactly as pictured, loved the back patio w/umbrella. Off the beaten path, quiet. Would highly recommend!!

NICE COZY STAY
This was our second time staying in this cabin. Let me tell you about the positives first. First the place upon walking in was clean and tidy. The place provides a sufficient amount of dishes to cook with, utensils, dish soap, new dish scrub, plenty of towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, coffee pot, toaster, blender, ice, hot tub, a fireplace (you provide own wood), and grill (its big and works well!) Having these amenities for my family and I are important because it means less things to bring from home. Second, the heater during the winter is important and this one works well. Thirdly the water pressure is amazing. Just be careful of the hot water because it gets pretty hot fast. Fourth, its near a VONS. Fifth, its quiet and mostly private.
Now let's talk about the negatives. First, the place needs some upgrading. The outlets are missing covers, the curtain rods kept falling down if we opened or closed the curtains and luckily they didn't fall on our heads. Second, the outside table no longer has an umbrella. I hope they replace this because during the summer its nice to have shade. Last thing, the beds are uncomfortable and the pillows feel like they barely have any stuffing so our sleep wasn't so great. Overall, would i stay the third time? Probably, having a familiar place to stay especially with a toddler is important for us. If we didn't have a toddler I think we may look for another cabin to try out.
Quick getaway in November when we were sick of being at home. Great property, clean. Check in was safe (but at another location). Great area. Close to mountains
Adorable cabin for my 3 kids, myself & our babysitter. We had a blast! Great decor, very functional, kids loved the "bunk room". Hot tub was a bit low on water but property manager responded quickly and remedied the issue. Will definitely stay there again!!!
The cabin was well appointed and comfortable. The grill and spa were well enjoyed. We cooked all our meals there. The outside needed a good sweeping (lots of cobwebs) but otherwise it was clean. One complaint: the bedding had been dried with some very strongly perfumed dryer sheets. I had to run the sheets through a rinse and dry cycle before we could sleep. I’m not usually sensitive to detergents or perfumes but the scent was overwhelming and it caused some coughing and wheezing.

Great Stay
Both of us loved our stay at this wonderful cabin in Moon Ridge. This home had everything, including a wonderful hot tub on the back deck. Everything was very clean and tidy. The bathrooms were big enough and the beds were comfortable. Our stay here was quiet and serene. We loved watching the chipmunks frolic in the yard. I would highly recommend this cabin to everyone wanting to get away from it all!
We loved the house. Even though we were late when we got to the cabin, we received a call from the main office and Michelle, the operator emailed me the combination lock so we could enter the cabin. Lovely place
Overall, this a decent place to stay in a good location. It was clean and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen could use some help as far as utensils and organization, so if you are planning on cooking, just be aware. Also, one of my pet peeves in most of the vacay rentals we stay at, this one included, is that basics such as pillows and sheets should be replaced at least every year. It's such a small investment, and provides a much more comfortable stay for a guest. The pillows were very old and uneven and flat. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
