We had a great stay at this cabin! Location is excellent and the cabin had everything we needed for cooking each night. Enjoyed the river and the wildlife.
|Week of total relaxation. First time to this area of Colorado, and we feel in love with lake city and our cabin. We spent so much of our time relaxing by the beautiful river. .
This place is wonderful! Right on the river. A few minutes to town 5 minutes to Lake San Cristobal. We fished right in front of the cabin. There are deer, chipmunks, and many species of birds. We are going to make this a yearly trip with family!
This property was great! The view the awesome. The neighbors were so friendly. The cabin was great!!!! I do believe it is the best cabin in the entire town of Lake City!
The property manager was great, very responsive and fixed any issue we asked about. Only a couple of downsides: the cabin is small, it has no washer/dryer, and the bears come to find food every night. Keep any coolers in the cabin. If you are ok with that it’s a great place to stay, close to restaurants, and the fishing in the back is fun. Highly recommend to bring or rent a RZR…the trails are very fun.
LOVED this property! They allowed us to host our family-only wedding alongside the river. It was perfect and Tannah is the best host to work with and very organized and really communicative!
Great all around trip and location. Stay was for 1 week.
All around a great place to stay. Great location. Close to town and easy access to trails. Just a few things that could have made our trip a bit better.
- better pots and pans.
- smoker had been damaged and was not useable.
- beds were a little hard for our liking.
- spare pillows had noticeable stains.
- could have had a few more full size towels available.
All in all, we would stay there again.
Thanks Tannah!
The property and location was great! The layout of the cabin was amazing too!! The only thing was the pullout couch wasn’t clean as well as some of the other things, and some of the outlets weren’t working:(! but the location had great views and open space!
Nice quiet place. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Easy access to everything.
The only thing i would say is the pots and pans could use replacements. Other then that it was so cute and everything we could have wanted

Great little cabin with breathtaking views
We loved this cabin! We had four adults in our party and even though the cabin is small, it never felt small. The kitchen and living area is nice and open. The beds were comfy. No AC but we didn't need it. We just opened the windows to let in the breeze as needed. We loved the updated look. It had a modern, rustic feel to it. Added little things that surprised us were the fishing rods left for us to use and the Smart TV! The river was great for fishing and we enjoyed gold panning in it as well. The only suggestions we have is to maybe mount TV on wall to free up table space and to add window coverings in the living area for privacy when needed. Other than that, this place is perfect! For the price, you won't find a nicer more updated rental with river frontage in Lake City!
This is a wonderful cabin with everything you could possibly need for a fun stay! We like to cook when we travel and the kitchen was well equipped. We fly fish on most of our trips and the location of this cabin is fabulous. We caught (& released) nice fish near the cabin! The deck is great for enjoying the evening, grilling dinner, and watching the deer that graze along the lawn.
Nice property with full kitchen , living room and 2 bedrooms. Nice porch with table and chairs. Backyard opens up to a stream. Close to Lake City. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Coffee pot dirty, table light socket lose we fixed, kitchen sponge was gross, no shade on lights in bedrooms and bathroom, mattresses just ok, blanket in front bedroom not totally clean and front porch needed to be swept. Cabin is in a great location with beautiful views and right on the river but needs a bit of tlc.
