This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condominium has everything you need to have a relaxed stress free vacation in the middle of Mayan culture.
Located on the 2nd floor, comes fully furnished and fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances. Stainless steel refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave and granite countertops in the kitchen. Tile bathrooms with marble countertops, tiled walls and glass shower enclosure in both full bathrooms. Washer and dryer alcove, air conditioning in all rooms, ceilings fans, window blinds, built-in closets with drawers. Two Queen size beds with 100% cotton bed linens by Simply Vera Wang and plush oversized towels. A 40 inch Samsung HDTV & BluRay/DVD Player in the living area, a PlayStation 3 deck , games, iPhone/iPod/MP3 players with FM clock radios in both bedrooms, queen size pillowtop Serta Mattresses. An optional inflatable bed for additional guests or children is available.
Zama Village has a beautiful private pool with kids shallow end and garden area for guests to enjoy. Sit on the spacious private balcony and relax while overlooking the gorgeous pool and garden area below. Bikes are a great way to explore the area. You can ride to the beach, shopping for groceries or a trip to town on the designated bike paths for your convenience. We suggest iBike Tulum nearby for rentals or similar.

Great!

This was a nice place: quiet, clean, a pool, seemed secure, easy parking... Didn't expect but really appreciated helpful, spot-on recommendations from the property manager Cathy. This was our first time in the area and we felt taken care of. Would happily stay here again.

Wonderful location to spend a vacation.

Solid choice in Tulum

We stayed at this property in mid November as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 4 and 1. Before checkin Bill was great sending informative messages. He kindly arranged a cot for us for our baby which was really handy. Closer to the date we were put in touch with Cathy who took care of us during our stay. Cathy was really friendly and responsive throughout our time there. She was very accessible via whatsapp and gave us a great briefing when we first met her. We had minor items that needed to be addressed during our stay and Cathy always sorted things out within hours. The place itself is really spacious and the pictures reflect the quality of the acommodation. We really liked the pool and it has a nice shallow part for kids. Aldea Zama is tucked away behind the town and there is a nice lot of restaurants about 500m away from this accommodation which will keep you well fed. The beaches were 15-20 minutes away which was close enough for us and the town was about 10 minutes drive. I would stay here again, we had a good time and so did our kids!

Very comfortable condo

From the furniture to the beds; everything was very comfortable. No hard Mexican beds in this condo! The linens and towels were high quality as well. The owner really went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and settled in. He even had a bottle of red wine for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this condo for families or couples who want to enjoy touring the area but also come back and relax at the pool or inside. The two bedrooms and 2 baths are almost identical so no one will feel like they got the short end of the stick. Great closet space and drawers to unpack and feel organized. Lots of thought went into the things provided. Even full size soaps!

Excellent. Can't wait to return!

These were excellent accommodations. Private, quiet, peaceful and easy access to everything. We had everything we wanted at our fingertips and felt safe and secure. We had such a great time playing hard everyday and then coming home to a beautiful roomy space to relax. Thanks so much for the great great accommodations. We felt right at home. Can't wait to do a repeat!

This was one of the cleanest, nicest places we have ever stayed at. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Property was perfectly located in close proximity to the beach, supermarket and Main Street (307). We will definitely go back and would love to stay here again.

very clean and well appointed condo in a safe environment

the condo was excellent in cleanliness and comfort. note there is no cable TV, but a nice TV and DVD player with movies was provided. The wifi also worked well. the unit is as described in every way. the complex is very safe and well positioned in between the beach and the town center of Tulum. you can ride a bike to either in about 12 minutes. the pool does not get direct sun, so you will want to spend more time at the beach which is amazing. there was some regular daytime noise from condos being built next door. started at 8am and ended at 530pm, not a big deal if you are out most of the day. i suspect the worst of it is over and it will be less in time. enjoy!

Highly recommended for a trip to Tulum

We just returned from a 4 day stay at Zama Village in Tulum. The complex and apartment are very new and in excellent condition. The condo was impeccably clean and well kept with all modern appliances. Zama Village is about a mile from the beach and very close to the big supermarket in town. We felt very safe there and our neighbors in the complex were friendly. Tulum is a fantastic place to visit and I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Excellent accommodations and a wonderful staff at Zama Village

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week in Tulum while staying at Zama Village. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and well kept with AC in every room. Our week was full of adventures to several of the nearby ruins and beach clubs with side trips to Boca Paila to fly fish and a couple of days of kitesurfing. The nearby cenotes which dot the area were a great diversion when the weather got to hot to be on the beach and the night life in Tulum was excellent and just 5 minutes from the condo. I highly recommend this VRBO as Daniella who manages the condo was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She gave us great advice on clubs, restaurants and beach access which really helped us to make the most of our trip. Thank you Daniella!

The perfect getaway

This condo was just perfect! It was so spacious, clean, and well kept. The location is great; half way between town and the beach. Just around the corner is the supermarket if you decide to stay in one night and enjoy cooking and relaxing on the balcony. Bikes or taxis this place will work for whatever you fancy. Daniella is such an incredible hostess with all the greatest recommendations and is a great resource for getting around Tulum.

Wonderful peaceful comfort

For 5 nights I enjoyed the quiet comfort of Mariposa Azul. The property was picture perfect as was the condo. Everything you will need to feel at home is provided. The location of the condo and its balcony is perfectly situated among lovely tropical plants that give a sense of privacy and beauty. The pool is beautiful and deep enough for swimming. The condo is some distance from the beaches and restaurants but if quiet and comfort is more important than being in the middle of the action then this place is just for you. I would definitely recommend this property to others. I must say that Daniella the property mgr. does a wonderful job imaking you feel cared for. From prompt email and phone calls to her introduction to the property she did a fantastic job. I felt at home very easily and really hated to leave. 5 nights is not long enough.

Peaceful Paradise

I stayed her for a vacation get-a-way for four wonderful nights. The condo is surrounded by quiet, lush tropical plants. The deck looks over the pool and was a favorite spot to sit and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. Inside, the condo was very clean with all the amenities I needed and desired. The beds were so comfy and the sheets so soft. I felt extremely comfortable and satisfied with my choice. The pictures above are a true reflection of what you will find when staying at Mariposa Azul. During my stay, I returned to the beautiful blue beaches and found many quaint and fun restaurants. Tulum has become one of my favorite places to visit and I will continue to stay here in the future.

Great Place for Mellow Getaway Vacation

I am from Seattle and my sister and I visited Tulum in April 2014. We were lucky to stay at this condo, as we were both looking to avoid the crowds of tourists and fine a quiet, mellow getaway. It was great to have the Mexican sun, greet us as we woke up and we were able to stay cool with the air conditioning and fans that were in each room. Each evening we would chill out with dinner and wine and watch a DVD from the small library of movies in the apartment. The beaches are beautiful here and the people friendly and mellow, as we found ourselves meeting people on the beach and having memorable conversations. The beach is super close and it was awesome to ride our bikes there. Daniella and the staff at the apartment were great hosts; Daniella always checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and was super helpful, warm and friendly. We will be back, with more friends and family!

all we hoped for and more

We stayed in Zama village for four weeks. What a fabulous choice. A spacious, contemporary,comfortable unit with all that one needed, it was beyond our expectations. The grounds and pool were great. Tulum beach and pueblo only a fifteen minute bike ride away. Grocery store even closer. Daniella, the unit manager, is an angel. Whatever issue that came up, regarding the unit or otherwise, she was always ready to rectify or offer assistance. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I think you could call me a regular here...

Hello! I keep coming back to this rental, seems to be part of my routine getaway from the craziness of Washington, DC! I've stayed here a few times, and for good reason - its an ideally located home away from home for me. Perfect proximity to town, the ruins, and the beach. Felt like everything was provided for me, and all I had to do was relax and have a good time. Bikes were provided, which always comes in handy for quick trips to the beach for all it has to offer, or, if you decide to rent a vehicle, there's plenty of safe, secure parking for you. As much fun as I had without them, this is the kind of place I would bring the whole family. Very safe, picturesque and comfortable. But if you want to rough it on your vacation, I understand that too - sleep outside on the deck under the stars listening to the sounds of the jungle! Either way, you're bound to have a wonderful time at this rental in Zama Village. Thanks again for everything, I really appreciate you going above and beyond to make sure I had a nice stay. Dear Tulum, I miss you...

I was very fortunate to have stayed at this beautiful condo in Zama Village for a few days. Perfect location in my opinion, situated nicely between town, the ruins, and the beachfront - made for an exceptional vacation. Access to condo-provided bikes was a plus, but the beach community is just a sight-filled walk away. Very safe, to the point of security guards on site. The condo itself is the first of many developments in an up and coming community carefully carved from the jungle and cenotes. I made quick friends with the Zama Village residents and other travelers making their getaways to Tulum, and was lucky to have been able to tag along on so many adventures during the brief time I spent in the area! I cannot possibly describe how peaceful and serene the locale is, you need to see it for yourself. I highly recommend, and look forward to going back as soon as I can! Thanks again for everything, see you again very soon!

My visit to Tulum was everything I had hoped and expected. The condo was clean, relaxing, and well decorated. Being on the second floor, the balcony provided a prime spot for me to relax while over looking the pool. At night you could here the birds and native creatures. The beds were very comfortable with soft, clean sheets and shades that allowed me to sleep in. There was plenty of hot water for a lengthy shower and the kitchen had all the amenities I would want (and a few more). I really enjoyed relaxing at the pool. The pool was very clean and spacious enough to swim some laps if desired. I really enjoyed the quaint bars, restaurants and night life. I would certainly recommend staying here, and I will return as soon as I can.

Home away from home

This is a perfect location for people who want to have easy access to town and the beach, with all the comforts of home. This condo is very spacious with lovely finishings throughout and extremely well equipped kitchen, particularly a fresh water cooler and heater in one. The sofa looks nice, but is a little firm for serious lounging. There was no satellite connection when we were there but I understand the owners are planning to install this. There is a great HD TV with BluRay player and discs and we connected our hard drive to this and watch our own downloads which I would recommend to anyone that likes watching TV when they are away. The wifi access is good. The beds are extremely comfortable with lovely bedding and having the choice of AC and fan in each room is great. Everything was new and although there were no mosquito nets on the windows and doors, the owners have a plan to fit these. The large walk in showers and washer/dryer made everything easy and the master has a huge walk through closet so no issues with storing luggage. The owners provide all the towels you would need for your stay, as well as beach towels. Bikes were provided which we found essential, as it was a 15 minute cycle to the beach and the same to town, which would be a long walk in the heat if you don't have a car. The large supermarket close to Aldea Zama provided everything we needed. Daniella who manages the property is an absolute gem and the owners are very lucky to have her. She is often onsite, responds quickly to emails and resolves issues quickly. She provided a welcome pack of provisions and drove us into town as we were late to arrive and she thought we'd want to dine out. Extremely thoughtful and considerate. Aldea Zama is an area that is under development, and there is a new complex of condos being built next door to Zama Village, so you may hear some construction noise during the day. Due to the nature of the construction of the complex, you may hear noise from other condos, but this is slight and only during the day. The security guards quickly shut down noise past 10pm and with there is no passing traffic. A Few Days in Paradise

My wife and I enjoyed our stay earlier this year at the Zama resort in Tulum. The condo we stayed in was very nice, clean and comfortable. We love Tulim and there is always plenty to do if that's your thing if not finding a place to just relax is equally easy to do. The Zama Village is in a perfect location between the beach and the town of Tulum, it is a 5 minute bike ride either way. The pool is very nice and the grounds well maintained. It was a peaceful and restful place to be. I would highly recommend a stay at Zama the only 2 things I missed was high speed Internet and some good TV channels. There is Internet in the village, it's just not accessible from inside the condo. If you haven't been to Tulum, I say go and your stay in The Zama village will more than meet your expectations.

Beautiful Condo in Tulum.

We recently stayed in this lovely condo. To say this place is wonderful is an understatment. Everything we needed was provided and our hosts Ryan and Danniele could not have been more gracious. We would recommend this condo to anyone who would like a beautiful visit to the great beaches of Tulum. The Condo was spotless and the hosts even provided beverages at our arrival. The beach is less that 10 min. by bicycle. Aldea Zama is very quiet and relaxing. As the saying goes students stay in cancun and professors stay in Tulum.

Great lodging, Great Trip!

Four adults shared this luxury condo for a week, and I liked it so much I stayed for another week. Along with our car rental, we had 2 bikes to use. With the beach, town and a top shelf grocery just 10 min away, the bikes were great; in fact I think I would skip the car rental next time. World class beaches with lots of wildlife; great food and the cultural experience of Tulum at night. The staff that support your stay at Zama were helpful and friendly. If there is a problem they will fix it promptly. Clean and well-maintained;I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.
