Nicely renovated and a great view! While the nor’easter was blowing the entire time, we stayed comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our stay! Happy to see the pool was still open, and looking forward to using it during our next stay! Great communication, easy check-in and out, kitchen well stocked with a pod and pot coffee maker. Beds were very comfortable, linens provided, and plenty of towels. Happy the elevator was functioning as well!

Host was good for the most part. I had to contact them the morning of for check in info bc it wasn’t sent. The house did not provide enough basic essentials (ie toilet paper, trash bags) to last the 5 days we were there so we had to purchase more. The furniture was a bit dated but overall clean. Elevator was not working.

Excellent off season stay

The process of booking and the details during the stay was easy, uncomplicated, and enjoyable. This is a nice property with ocean views. The building (as with most facing the ocean) is dated. However, everything works as promised.

Perfect Setting

Heron Cove was the perfect setting for a week at the beach. Our unit overlooked the pool and the beach which were literally steps away. It was located near lots of good restaurants, shopping, the dunes and Manteo. We will definitely be coming back!

really enjoyed the location and the view, and the layout was great. the kids could sleep without hearing everyone in the main room. the AC however was terrible. the only room that got remotely cool was the master bedroom. we had to go out and buy a couple of floor fans, and that still didnt help but too much. also..time to replace thr fridge..the food bearly stayed cool. overall, however, loved it. just needs those few tweeks.

The furniture and decor were great and comfortable......mattresses were good....... kitchen appliances not so good the refrigerator ice maker was gone we had to use ice trays, oven broiler didn't heat properly.....appliances need updated

It's just not a vacation unless we visit the OBX. Loved staying at Heron Cove. All the comforts of home right at the beach. Such an awesome place to stay. The app makes check in and check out effortless.
