Jicaro Island is one of the Isletas (small islands), just a few minutes boat ride from the colonial town of Granada, Nicaragua. This private island getaway has spectacular views of the Mombacho Volcano and other Isletas in Lake Granada.
The casita features a second story bedrooms with a king size bed as well as a downstairs living area with access to a private balcony featuring lounge furniture and a hammock.
The small intimate outdoor restaurant with an open kitchen offers fresh, local, organic, healthy dishes with a focus on fish, chicken, vegetables and fruits.
A variety of activities are available on the island such as yoga, wellness treatments, kayaking or artisanal fishing.
The only thing you should be afraid of when thinking about a trip to Nicaragua and Jicaro Island Lodge is that you might not want to leave ever again.
