We had a great stay at this VRBO. The property had plenty of beds and space for our group, was very clean, and had a nice setting that made it easy to relax. Its location close to Urbana was very convenient as well. There were a few minor hiccups during our stay, but nothing that significantly impacted our experience. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others.

It worked for us, honestly some wallpaper damage, toilet seats could be replaced, had 0 problems with plumbing, Thank you.

Golf reunion

Very nice home with lots of amenities! The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day of golf. Several nice options in the "game room". We didn't do any cooking but it looks like the kitchen was well equipped for those that do. Very pretty location with the lake behind the home and pool. Would highly recommend!

Exactly what we needed

Big house, lots of space, beds, and fun. Great they accepted dogs and had a fenced in yard. Kids didt want to stop swimming in the pool. Communication was good even when the pool turned green for a couple days. House could use a little love, but worked for us

Lot to offer

The house fit out family, it just needs to be cleaned. The house smelled like animal pee, I have animals but the smell was overbearing. I had to go to get some plugins. Other than that we enjoyed the place

Lots of issues - indoor and outdoor cleanliness, pool functionality, damaged furniture, peeling paint and wallpaper, un-lockable doors between garage and house, etc.This house has great potential (ample indoor and outdoor space, close to U of I's campus, etc.), but I would not recommend it in its current shape.On the plus side, the owner did refund us our last night, as we didn't stay, given the multitude of issues.

The place was beautiful but. .

The house was beautiful but needs some updating the wallpaper is pealing off there is a fowl odor in all the downstairs area kind of like cat urine. It was kind of clean but there where dead and alive bugs in the cabinets and the worse part of the trip was wanting to use the jacuzzi tub but i filled it up turned it on and a much nasty brown amd black flakes started spewing out of the jets. There is so much calcium built up in the showers that it had poor water pressure. But the house was huge had plenty of towels and space.

Spacious, nice neighborhood, house needs some TLC

Prior to our stay, the house host was very good about communicating and answering questions. This house had plenty of room for our group, and the kitchen and living room areas were perfect for hanging out. The house is older and in need of many little repairs. The house is also “pet friendly” although we did not have any pets with us, there were three large dog crates in the laundry room and may be perfect for people with dogs - the house also has evidence of pets living there (like clawed up spots on some curtains and some scratched up woodwork). We had an issue with a toilet overflowing and had to use all of the towels to dry up the water on the floor and the house host came right away with more towels and was very helpful. The pool and backyard overlooking a small lake are nice and would be a great perk for a summer stay.

Property in bad shape and was very uncomfortable

We came into town for a sporting event through the weekend. The hotels were all sold out and we found what we thought was a great alternative with this place. The property smells like lots of animals live there. Almost all of the furniture has been shredded in some way by animals. The upstairs was over 82 degrees while the downstairs was 64 degrees. My family didn't really sleep at all. The mattresses/pillows were VERY stained. There is more that was bad but I'll stop there.We were so uncomfortable we left after one night even though we had already paid for multiple nights. After informing the owner of all this she stated it was normal for a "pet friendly" home. Steer clear of this place!

As a pet-friendly home, some normal wear is expected, but we always ensure the space is clean and ready for guests. The temperature difference between floors is something I make sure the guests are aware about, along with thermostat recommendations to help regulate it. When you reached out about your concerns, I responded quickly and offered a partial refund as a goodwill gesture. While I understand you were still disappointed, I truly wish we could have found a solution that worked better for you. We take all feedback seriously and are already addressing the small maintenance items you mentioned. We’ve had many happy guests and work hard to provide a great experience for all. We had a great stay. The home is accurately advertised, very spacious, and has plenty of room for a large family or multiple people. There was some normal wear and tear, and it could use a few upgrades, but overall it was perfect for a two-night stay. The pool was great with plenty of space for lounging and relaxing. The owner was fantastic with communication, and the minor issues we had were addressed right away. Thanks for a great stay!
