We stayed here while our camper was undergoing service work at the manufacturer, and everything was perfect. The location is ideal for easily checking in on our RV. It’s clear the hosts put amazing care into this property—from the k-cups on the counter to the provided shampoo and conditioner, it’s the perfect place to just arrive and unwind without unpacking everything.Both the interior and exterior were beautifully maintained before, during, and after our stay; the lawn is perfectly manicured, and our dog loved having plenty of room to roam. The nearby park was incredibly convenient for stretching our legs during work lunch breaks, and the strong, stable internet allowed both of us to work remotely without a hitch.We 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting for the local fairs, RV service, or just exploring the area. The hosts are wonderfully responsive, and by the time we checked out, we felt more like family than guests!

What a great cozy little cottage! Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but we were extremely comfortable in the cottage. Our hosts were out of this world. Very responsive when i arrived and throughout our stay. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cottage. We chose to stay at this VRBO instead of a hotel while our coach was being worked on, because we had two Golden Retrievers. We are so glad we did. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and just what we needed. The hosts, Teresa and Missy, were great to work with, and the cookies baked by Madeline made the visit all the sweeter. So sweet that we ordered two dozen and a pumpkin roll to take with us on the road. I highly recommend this property as a relaxing stay while waiting on repairs or just visiting the area.

Great little place to relax

This place is perfect for a quiet little get away. Very clean amd comfortable. Also close to anything we needed like snacks & food. We even dashed some breakfast before checkout.

This house and property are beautifully kept in a quiet neighborhood and a friendly outside cat will happily make you feel right at home. The owners are kind and thoughtful and provide everything you need for a nice stay. Although the property welcomes pets, there is no sign nor smell of animals! Mancinos restaurant and Hardings Friendly Market are very nearby. Close to Shipshewana and Elkhart, you can shop the flea market or Forks County Line Store and find other fun adventures. I highly recommend this property!

Why they chose this property

The 1st thing I do when I get up in the morning is look out back to see what wildlife maybe on the property. We feed the deer and birds. We also have a couple of stray cats Boots and Grimie that hang around from time to time.
We have the best neighbors. Next door is Mary and her daughter Jane. Mary's dad built the cottage in 1940 and her mother lived in the cottage until her passing at 100. Mary is currently in her 90's and still drives.I love the history of this home. Mary and Jane love to meet our guest. If you see them out in the yard do not hesitate to say Hi.
Missy and her husband Harry live across the street and help with cleaning and mowing of the property. There 2 girls Charlotte and Madelyn bake cookies for our guest and love to play down by the river.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is small and cozy. I love high quality bedding and a comfortable bed. Love to sit on the front porch in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine.
