A peaceful retreat just minutes from the beach. Enjoy the cozy living room designed for conversations and games. The upstairs loft includes two twin beds with two additional roll-out twin trundles underneath. There is a BBQ and hot tub on the back deck with a cozy sitting area.

The longer we stayed the more we appreciated the property. It took us a long time to figure out which were the heaters and how to make the heaters work, as it was chilly in the mornings. TV in the bedroom could have been in the living room. Also, we couldn't figure out how to make it work. I know we are old school and old people. Maybe include directions for the TV. My 6'7" grandson wouldn't have been able to visit us because of the low ceilings. Maybe a note about this in the listing? We loved that you accommodated our dog. We appreciated this very much. But all was well, and we thank you for a nice stay in West Port.

For future guests, the cottage uses simple plug-in heaters, and in wall heating units with standard controls on the wall. Regarding the ceiling height, the cottage is an original 1940s beach home, and the lower ceilings are part of its historic charm. This is noted in the listing description so guests, especially taller visitors, can determine whether the home is a good fit before booking. Likewise, the standard smart TV’s location in the bedroom is shown in the listing photos so guests know the layout in advance. Thank you again for your kind feedback. Lovely, cozy home away from home! The décor was a charming mix of farmhouse, modern, and antique, and the ambience was so inviting. Yana was quick to answer any questions, which made everything easy. The location was perfect—close to the grocery store, downtown, and the beach. It was warm when we arrived, but opening the windows and using the swamp cooler made it comfortable. Only suggestion: a mosquito net on the back door for the breeze without the bugs. Otherwise, absolutely perfect stay!

Cozy and comfortable

Just what my family needed. There is a neighbor rooster that makes noise starting in the wee hours of the morning and going most of day so keep that in mind if you like to sleep in. Hot Tub cozy, access to local amenities great, and beach access close.

Hot tub needed to be hotter. Screen on front door needs repairing. Back door needs a screen door.
