Log Cabin on Edge of National Park; Over the Top Amenities & Reviews
New for 2025: Community and wellness are important to us and there are so many people hurting right now. For that reason, we are throwing back our prices! And for every one-week booking, we are donating a portion to a local community charity impacted by Hurricane Helene. Doing good matters to us.
Three Little Birds is a luxurious, handcrafted log cabin on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Cosby, TN. Our tranquil setting, proximity to the National Park, and over the top amenities makes this is a one-of-a-kind retreat for couples, families, and hikers. Within 2 minutes, you will be hiking a National Park trail or fishing for trout in Cosby Creek. There is so much to do in our area! Our cabin is peacefully located on the quiet side of the Smokies, and yet a close drive to area attractions.
As owners, we take great pride in managing our cabin to provide an extraordinary experience for our guests. We took it over the top! We pour our hearts into it! This is one of the reasons why we have amazing guest reviews and well over 75% of our guests return year after year. This is not a vacation rental business for us; this is our happy place that we share with you. With our knowledge and love of the National Park and surrounding areas, let us help you plan an unforgettable vacation!
Cabin Amenities:
- This is a true hand-hewed log cabin inside and out. Think cozy!
- Two fully covered porches allow you to rock on a rocker to the sights and sounds of nature - rain or shine.
- The main floor is open and made for entertaining. Enjoy the stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, watch a movie on the smart tv, or play from our huge selection of games and puzzles.
- Our cook's kitchen will impress. Everything needed to cook a simple or gourmet meal. Picnic baskets, blankets and coolers provided to enjoy a meal in nature.
- Outside you are treated to a large and well cared for hot tub on a screened and covered patio.
- Love to grill? Our covered grilling patio has a Weber Genesis gas grill that can be easily used rain, snow or sunshine. Or you may want to fire up the charcoal Weber Kettle or maybe try your hand at the smoker on the outdoor patio.
- The 2-car garage is fully accessible to our guests and it is filled with adventure - bicycles, river rafters, gold panning, fishing gear, bag toss, Yardzee, and tons of outdoor kids' toys.
- Ready for a good night sleep? The main floor bedroom has a comfy queen bed with a full bathroom across the hall. The master suite upstairs has a king bed with a dreamy master bath. Grab some bubbles and soak the day away in your private whirlpool tub.
- The sleeping loft has 2-twin beds set up in a trundle, a tv and foosball game for fun. Comfy for adults or children.
-There is also a small office with 2 desks to make 'working from the cabin' easy and also filled with tons of children's toys and baby equipment.
- A fully equipped laundry room is located on the first floor with plenty of space for folding or hanging.
-Everything that you need for a picnic in the beautiful National Park- coolers, picnic blankets, and plastic dishes are ready for on-the-go meals.
- In the backyard, you will find a large firepit and we supply an endless supply of seasoned firewood. Grab a camp chair from the garage and cook smores in the great outdoors.
We guarantee that you will not find such an array of amenities at any other cabin. This is why our guests come back year after year.

About the host
Hosted by Patty and Chris
We love the Smoky Mountains and have always dreamed of owning a home here. Our dream came true in June, 2012, and we're looking forward to sharing our knowledge of the national park and our home with our guests. This isn't just a cabin rental business for us; this is our home that we share with you.
For the past 20+ years, we have escaped our hectic lives to hike and backpack the beautiful trails in the Smokies. We were engaged on the top of Mt. LeConte, and both of children had their first (of many) backpacking adventures here in the Park. We've hiked most of the trails, including much of the famous Appalachian Trail. We can't wait to share our knowledge with you.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this home from the moment that we saw it. We love the tranquility of the property yet its convenience to the nearby attractions. We love being soooo close to the National Park. We love that the home is unique and handcrafted with spaces for everyone to relax and play. It's our place to unwind when we need it and, most importantly, make wonderful memories with our kiddos and friends. We hope that you love it as much as do!
What makes this property unique
The cabin is beautifully handcrafted. It was build to last forever in this peaceful setting. The rooms are spacious with high-end finishes and the community is beautiful. Three Little Birds was build to be 'a home'. We absolutely love our home, and hope that you will treasure it as we do.
