While the property itself was beautiful with a unique view of the lake, cleanliness in multiple areas was of great concern. Cobwebs were everywhere (i.e. light fixtures, patio furniture, grill). One night one, the outdoor lights did and dining area lights did not work. Bedding appeared to had not been changed or cleaned; fine hairs were found in the bunkbeds.

We stayed for a week at the end of February. The house and premises were clean and organized. The amenities were excellent. The views were beautiful. Had one small issue with a broken coffee pot, but was an easy fix - went to Walmart and bought a replacement pot. Location was ideal for getting to various places, and the neighborhood was nice. The host was responsive. All in all, a wonderful time.

There were bugs in one of the beds that resembled a bed bug. There were dead flies on the floor. There were spiders and spider webs all on the lamp post in the backyard and the tv didnt work in the master bedroom. We left shortly after arriving due to discovering the bug in the bed. Horrifying experience.

Incredibly inundated by bugs. I am sure some sort of ultrasonic thing can be installed, but immediate nasty vibes. First impressions count for a lot and it didnt stop there. we booked this house bc we wanted a pool to use, but it was so dirty. we did get in with tubes for a bit, but didnt take away the nasty factor. here are some additional notes;-scratchy towels-No Bath mats-More washrags needed, we had one downstairs. -no hand towel in down stairs half bath-Accurate directions for lighting needed-Remotes in drawer should be labeled and have batteries-Had to ask for code to get in 40 min prior to check in time. this was imperative to me as I was going to a concert and historically there is not reliable service and needed to get the information to the rest of our party.-Oven missing a knob-Gate on side of house does not close-Yard people came. We didnt know. Would have been awkward if we were still outside and was awkward as there are no blinds outside and alao, they were taking a video of our pool floats. Trimming bushes while close to car.

I’m sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience. The electronic key was emailed to you before check-in, and I texted you the access code as soon as you contacted me. As stated in the listing, the property is located directly on the lake, so occasional outdoor insects are unavoidable. However, we have the property professionally treated regularly and also provide bug spray for guests. I wish you had contacted me about these concerns during your stay. I would have gladly provided additional bug spray and sent our pool technician to the property immediately. Since you completed your stay without reporting these issues, I was surprised to receive a request for a full refund after your departure. In the future, I recommend notifying the host as soon as an issue arises so they have an opportunity to resolve it. The remote controls stored in the drawer are not connected to the lights. All relevant instructions are included in the welcome guide. If anything was unclear, I would have been happy to explain or assist had you contacted me.

We had a great stay overall at the Lakefront Oasis. The house was excellent—very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The view from the house was beautiful and definitely a highlight of our stay.However, the entire pool area in the backyard was quite dirty, which was disappointing since we were really looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy that part of the property.Aside from that, everything else was good, and we did enjoy our stay. We would consider coming back, but we do hope the pool area is properly maintained next time, as it’s an important part of the experience for us.

We had a really special weekend at this lake house. The home was beautiful and the backyard is breathtaking. The property manager attended to all of our questions and concerns quickly and well.

The home is really nice. The backyard there’s a pool and also a lake where you can fish or just chill we did both. Really nice home we enjoyed the 2 days we were there. The neighbors to the left of the front door has cameras and signs trying to intimidate you pay it no mind just follow your host rules about quiet time at 10pm and you’ll be fine. I’ll give 5 stars and would recommend to others.

Upon check-in, we were very disappointed with the condition of the property. The pool was extremely dirty and appeared as though it had not been cleaned at all for the season. As a result, we were unable to use the pool for our entire stay, which was a major factor in booking this property.Inside the home, the floors were also unclean. Walking barefoot was not possible, as our feet would turn black almost immediately. Additionally, the living room TV was not functioning.The outdoor lighting was another issue. None of the lights worked properly—we tried both switches and remotes, but only one light would turn on, and it flickered.Communication with the host was inconsistent. They responded quickly when they believed we were interested in extending our stay, but after we raised concerns about the unacceptable condition of the pool, we did not receive any further response.Overall, this stay did not meet expectations and lacked basic cleanliness and maintenance.

Beautiful house but unfortunately, there were many issues with our stay. Upon arrival, the first thing that stood out was the lack of cleanliness. There were a ridiculous amount of dead insects at the entrance, empty chip bags on the floor by the pool, a mostly drunken water bottle and balled up napkin in the master bedroom, dirty floors/carpet, and the kitchen sink stunk and fruit flies flew out when i turned the water on. Additionally the pool was filthy and the filter didn’t work which is not safe. Initially it truly wasn’t a big deal. We cleaned up the mess and contacted the owner about the pool to which she replied she’d send over the pool technician. He never came.The very next morning we contacted the owner again to notify her of more issues (the tv in the master bedroom did not work at all, thermostat batteries had to be replaced by us to be able to use it, restroom sink was clogged, kitchen sink disposal was broken, mini split upstairs does not turn on) and she read the message but didn’t respond. We called and she never called back. On the last day at 11am (check out) she had the cleaning lady come over to apologize on her behalf and asked us to not give a bad review. Needless to say, we didn’t appreciate that and would not come back or recommend this place to anyone.
