About the host
Hosted by Jeanne Shepherd
Tho I am originally from Seattle, I have lived on Kodiak Island since 1978. 42 of those years were spent at what is now a 103 year old homestead, 70 miles down the west side of the island. A subsistance lifestyle has taught me a multitude of skills, but computer skills is not one of them!
Why they chose this property
When you book this property, you will understand why I chose this location.
What makes this property unique
This property is located above a small neighborhood park along the water's edge, accessed by private stairs.
You can enjoy morning coffee on the deck while watching boats come and go, as well as seals, sea lions, water foul and occasional whales, all from the comfort of this delightful home.
Just a 2 minute walk from the park below the house is the best restaurant in town, open for lunch and dinner, as well as the most scenic coffee shop, offering tasty treats, if you choose not to stay in for morning coffee.
