Enjoyed a wonderful stay. Kevin is an excellent host, quick communication, clear directions and easy check in process. The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean, well equipped kitchen and a stunning view - and wooly neighbors! Less than 5 minutes to Malin Head and so many beaches and beautiful places just short drives away. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy this place- hope to be back again soon.

Dear Kevin, after a long struggeling year we hoped for a nice vacation. But what we found was much more! Not only a house, but a great welcomin home. The healing seaview from nearly every room! A place to calm down for our whole family (kids 13, 10 and 8).Space for everyone to relax, calm down and enjoy the beauty of the nature! We explored a lot of the beauty spots around the Wild Atlantic Way and Inishowen Peninsula, heard wonderful traditional music, enjoyed pints at Farrans bar, and much more.On the last evening our 8year old daughter asked me to say goodbye to the ocean. So we walked down, she climbed on the rocks, spreaded her arms and called deep from her heart „FREEEDOOOM“. Thats what we really found at your place. It felt so hard to leave after 10 days and we hope to come back soon!

What a beautiful slice of paradise! We really loved our time spent at this cottage with the most gorgeous views. We enjoyed walking over to Farren’s Bar (about a 2.2 km walk) to chat with all of the friendly locals and then chatting with all of the local sheep on our journey. The cottage itself was a perfect spot to unwind with a cup of tea, and it was so quiet for fantastic sleep. As for local places to visit, we highly recommend both the Doagh Famine Village and the Wild Alpaca Way… definitely highlights for us. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous space with us!

The location is absolutely stunning and the home is very nice and spacious, with two bathrooms, cozy bedrooms and a large living room and kitchen. You can hear the ocean waves and seagulls while sitting in the living room.

Stunning views, comfortable home with everything we needed

This was one of my favorite places I have ever stayed, anywhere. It was extremely comfortable and quiet, with a bank of windows looking out over the bay and a long way down the coast; we spent hours watching the waves rolling in from the sea, the changing tides and weather ranging from brilliant sun to rain, storms, and rainbows over the water. We enjoyed making fires in the woodstove, and sitting outside at the picnic table when the weather was good for that. It’s also

Gort na Cúile was one of my favorite places I have ever stayed, anywhere. It was extremely comfortable and peaceful, with a bank of windows looking out over the bay and down the coast, to beautiful bluffs and mountains above the sea.I was teaching online during our week there and the internet worked well; when I wasn’t working we enjoyed watching the waves rolling in from the sea, the changing tides and weather ranging from brilliant sun to rain, storms, and rainbows over the water. It was lovely having fires in the wood stove, and sitting outside at the picnic table when the weather was good. It’s an easy walk down to the rocky bay below the house and a short drive up to the tip of Malin Head to watch the sunset. It’s also a relatively short drive to many other beautiful places: on various days we swam at Culdaff beach and visited Bocan Stone Circle; drove to the amazing Knockamany lookout point over the mouth of Trawbrega Bay then down to Five Finger Strand; found beautiful rocks at Ballyhillin beach and visited St. Mahar’s church on the north coast. On days with more time we made easy trips to Derry, the Grianan of Aileach hillfort, Inch Island bird refuge, and Beltany Stone Circle; and took a ferry across Lough Foyle to visit Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. This is a wonderful place to stay alone or with others in all kinds of weather, and our host Kevin was very helpful as well. Highly recommended!
