Location, location, location: 1st Floor 4 Bed 3 Bath Condo in Center of town

Burch House, originally built between 1840 - 1860, was home to the Burch family for many years. This Greek revival was turned into a 17 room guest house in 1962 until it's conversion into three condominiums in 2016. The unit is situated in the front of the building at the base of High Pole Hill, with the Pilgrim Monument as a backdrop. This exquisite unit is next to the town green (Bas Relief Park), and its town-center location makes it easily accessible to all that Provincetown has to offer.

Just one block to the bay beach and a five minute walk from the ferries and MacMillan Pier. This top-of-the-line, unit has 1,184 sq. ft of living space with central a/c, one king bedroom and three queen bedrooms. The king and one queen bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom while the remaining 2 queen bedrooms have a shared bathroom. The living/dining area comfortably fits 8 people. There is an outdoor dining and seating area that overlooks Bas Relief Park and Town Hall. All of the appliances, fixtures and furnishing are new. The kitchen has quartz counter tops, stainless steel dishwasher, stove, microwave oven, fridge/freezer with ice maker. There are three full baths with a washer/dryer in the unit. Off-site parking for one car is available. One additional off-site parking space available for an additional fee; please inquire.

Great Location and amenities

We had a great stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—quiet, but still close to everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout the stay. My only small complaint is that the 9am checkout felt a bit too early. It would’ve been nice to have a bit more time in the morning to pack up and enjoy a slower start to the day. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we’d definitely stay again!

Birthday Getaway!

Our girls weekend to celebrate my sisters birthday with some friends was absolutely amazing! The house was clean, spacious, and modern. It has an amazing outdoor sitting and dining area. The absolute best part was its central location. We were a short walk to everything including shops, restaurants, and the beach.

Great location and fun week with friends

The house was lovely and the Rich was very cooperative and communicative. Location was perfect and the space fit our group of 8 well. Some of the linens (sheets, towels, etc.) felt a little old and could have been updated, but besides that everything was clean and the house was well stocked. Would definitely book again.

Very responsive owner and the property has a great location. Some initial problems with cleanliness that the owner responded well to. Common area and outside areas are great, but the bedrooms/bathrooms could use some sprucing up/updates.

The location is very convenient, but the space needs some upgrades. We stayed in this same property 8 years ago, and nothing has changed. Some furniture is now broken, the outdoor furniture is rusted, the outdoor space is overgrown and unkempt to a point that all of the furniture is crammed together and essentially unusable. Two of the beds had seriously stained mattresses and dingy pillows. The plastic on the bedroom windows was unexpected. The upstairs tenants were sometimes very loud, as was the festival in the park immediately adjacent that went on into the late night. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The paper products are so cheap and thin.

Perfect!

Wonderful location and central to everything. Well equipped kichen. Super clean! Rich was a wonderful host and I highly recommend his 116 Bradford St, Provincetown location. We had planned the trip almost a year in advance, as we wanted to visit some of our old haunts and make some new memories. We could not have asked for a nicer stay!!

Perfect Location at Center of Town

Perfect location that made it super easy to get anywhere in West End or East End. Very short straight walk from the ferry dock. Property Manager was super responsive. There was an issue with 2 of the AC units and he was super responsive the whole time and got a repair person out to fix it. 4 good sized bedrooms, and common area made very easy for group relaxing and hanging out together. I will say be aware that people taking the funicular up to the monument can see straight into the unit if the blinds aren't pulled down. Wasn't an issue for us but something to be aware of depending on how much privacy you require.

PTown is a magical place, and one we have loved staying in every year. This year we spared no expense and went for this condo for a week for the 6 of us friends. The Good: Location can't be beat, steps to everything - which explains the high weekly rate. We had a great week and enjoyed our time thoroughly.The Bad: Cleanliness. The listing says no pets allowed, and yet our couches and rugs were fully covered with dog hair. When I told the landlord about it, he informed me that he told his cleaner to clean that off 3 times already. Not ok. He then told me there was a vacuum in the closet, and offered to use that which I agreed to - but then he never did it. We were later instructed to cover the couches with blankets which we had to do for the rest of the trip. Our sheets were full of stains, pillows flat and hard, and some body towels smelled of mildew. We had to rewash all the dishes as some were dirty, and the cupboards are stocked full of dry foods that expired years ago. With a good cleaning (new cleaner?) and organization, it could be great. The fact that we paid 11k, I expect clean towels and sheets - spend a couple hundred and update them all. As the landlord gave a tour of his house to a real estate agent during our stay (with our permission), it painted the picture to me that they were not interested in keeping the house up anymore as they were looking to sell. Could be wrong, but that felt like a good explanation for missing the cleaning notes.

Excellent location, mediocre property

First, the location is excellent and the unit is spacious with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. And the host was very responsive to issues that developed during our stay. But the negatives:It is not a house (as one would assume from the VRBO post), but a first floor condo in the house. Very dated and worn in places. Many windows are covered in plastic inside, I guess due to drafts. One hallway rug was curled on both ends creating a fall risk. Living room coffee table was just flat out worn out. No bathroom amenities. One bar of Dove soap with each set of towels in the bedrooms but that’s it. No shampoo, conditioner, body wash or body lotion provided. Barely any toilet paper or paper towels. One bathroom had NO toilet paper at all. When I asked the host where we could find more I was told that if there was none under the sinks, we would have to “pick some up”. We had to buy our own. Patio area was very uninviting. Table has huge patches of peeling paint. We never once used it though it would have been nice to eat outside. Two of the three bathrooms are very small. Master bedroom has no closet, just a hook on the back of the door. So, we paid in excess of 12,000 for eight nights. The location can’t be beat - one short block from Commercial Street - but just not worth the money. We’ve booked our visit already for next summer and have chosen a hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for a week with family members for our daughter's wedding. The condo suited our needs perfectly. The location 1 block from Commercial Street could not have been better. We loved the outdoor seating area for gathering to socialize. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great place, location. It's right by the funicular/elevator at the bottom of the Pilgrim tower. The patio is a great place to hangout early morning and in the evening.

I work and reside in the South End of Boston, MA. Moving to Boston in December 1991 was one of the best decisions I ever made. Soon after moving to Boston I met my husband in November 1995. For 20 years we enjoyed traveling around the US and Europe. The one destination made annually was to Provincetown. Over the years, we made great friends and had wonderful times during every trip! After my husband passed away in 2015, I decided to make Provincetown my official second home and open to visitors from all over the globe to share this beautiful home and town.

Why they chose this property

The house has so much history to it and the renovations inside are very modern while keeping some of the original details. The location is perfect and it makes walking so convenient if you're destination is to the East or West End of town. The layout of the condo provides privacy for all guests as well as a nice large common area to enjoy!
