Welcome to 16 Alden Street Unit 1!

This centrally located, charming original cape condo is the perfect vacation spot for you and your family/friends! While just steps from the ferry, boutiques, galleries and restaurants, the location, tucked into High Pole Hill, affords great privacy and serenity complete with a view of the monument. With a total of 4BR, 2BA and 2 living rooms, there is plenty of space for you and your guests.

Originally built in the 1860s, the property still retains the original pine floors and period built-ins, while recent upgrades allow for the comforts of modern day life. The kitchen and both bathrooms have been beautifully and recently renovated. The large eat in kitchen/dining room and bright living room provide ample space for entertaining. If vacationing in the winter, a wood stove adds atmosphere and warmth to the living room. Upstairs, you'll find a second living room plus two additional bedrooms with a full bath. Outside, the quintessential white picket fence and well manicured grounds surround the house. An inviting patio out back is the setting for summer dinner parties complete with a grill and a table with seating for 8. In front of the house are 6 Adirondack chairs, which are great for enjoying a beverage and hanging out. The generous sized driveway accommodates up to 2 cars and the ferry dock is only about a 6 minute walk from the house. There is a bike rental shop right down the street from the condo.

A charming house in a great location

This is a charming house with a very quirky layout, nicely maintained and thoughtfully updated. The location is outstanding, on a quiet side street but only about a five minute walk from the very center of town.

Mac and Sam’s place is so beautiful and comfortable. Moments from Commercial Street, but on a quiet road. Comms from Mac were great. There were eight adults, and the place is big enough that we all felt comfortable. We would stay here again and again.

We had a lovely week in this house, it had everything we needed and the four bedrooms were able to accommodate 6 easily. Two of the bedrooms were big enough for couples, while the other two were smaller, and better for 1 person. Mac was communicative and helpful, five stars!

Absolutely awesome cottage!

This cottage is even better in person! We love the awesome layout, gorgeous upgrades, bathrooms and kitchen. This cottage is walking distance to literally everything. It does have a steep staircase but the kids didn’t care at all and they loved the upstairs family room and bedrooms. Mac was very responsive. I HIGHLY recommend this cottage for your next Ptown stay.

Awesome house

We loved our stay! The house is exactly as described and was perfect for our two families (4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 9 to 1). The layout of the house and all the furnishings were great, as were the outdoor spaces / shower. Mac is incredibly friendly and responsive, and the check-in process couldn't have been simpler. We also really loved the location - incredibly close to everything but also in a quiet part of town. We took Mac's recommendation and tried Mistralino - we liked it so much we ate there twice! Thanks, Mac, for a wonderful week at your charming house.

Beautiful house in AMAZING location

Mac's home is absolutely stunning - there is ample room across 4 separate bedrooms with 2 different living room areas and a gorgeous kitchen that has everything you need. The front and backyard have great space for cocktails and grilled dinners including an amazing outdoor shower! The real treat was the location. Situated 2 blocks behind Commercial Street and smack in the center of town, walking anywhere took no more than 5-10 minutes in either direction. Mac was incredibly responsive and friendly. Will 100% stay here again!

Just the right spot

This property is a perfect distance from the restaurants and bars on Commercial Street, as they are easily walkable but the street itself is quiet and not at all congested. The property has been been tastefully updated with a new kitchen, bathrooms, and a w/d. We grillled and ate in the backyard several evenings, and cooked and ate in the kitchen most others. There is ample seating in both. Mac was an accomodating and responsive host, and took care of everything we needed from him. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location - Charming Vibe

Stayed here with a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed it! The decor and vibe of the house is really cool, charming, and well-done. It's very cozy and great for a group of friends. The location is incredible and really walkable to the main Ptown attractions. We really enjoyed the outdoor areas (outdoor shower, adirondack chairs, outdoor dining) and Mac the hose was incredibly responsive and helpful.

Looking for an idyllic Cape Cod style home in the heart of PTown? Look no further. Nothing less than Sublime

Perfect distance to commercial street while maintaining privacy and quiet. Adirondack chairs in yard were perfect for morning coffee. Outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after the beach. Plenty of kitchen amenities should you want to cook- we didn’t. We didn’t need the air conditioning- but it will be nice later this summer. Beds were comfortable- sheets were crisp and pillows soft yet firm. Driveway was big enough for my truck! Check in was super easy- many thanks Mac for everything!

A classic cape with charm, space and in a great place.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this lovely house. Mac was very friendly, communicative and responsive prior to and during our stay. The location is great, very central and close to Bradford and Commercial Street but tucked away on a quiet block that feels very private and hidden. The yard is beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the Adirondack chairs up front. The outdoor shower is really nice and the back patio is perfect for grilling and hanging out when it’s not too buggy. The interior of the house is as pictured in the listing, bright, well appointed and quaint all around. The additional living room upstairs is a real bonus giving everyone space to spread out and have privacy. The stairs are a trip (no pun intended) but added to the charm ;-) Mac makes sure to mention this in the listing and introduction note. This house feels like a cozy home with all the modern amenities one could ask for but with a lot of the character of a classic Ptown cape.

Our large condo is the perfect place for friends and/or family to vacation at together because it is very centrally located and yet is right off the beaten path so it’s very private. Also the unit itself provides everything you need to have a great time whether that’s cooking together for a fun dinner party or hanging out in the Adirondack chairs outside and having drinks.

What makes this property unique

Each bedroom affords lots of privacy and the two living room set up and two outdoor spaces uniquely allows for groups to hang out together or separately. Also the driveway fits 4 cars which is unheard of for Provincetown!
