Stone villa Joe was built 1958 and has 3 floors, with a total of 300 m2 of living space and 700 m2 outdoor. The villa offers 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with capacity 10+2 guests.
The 1st floor is the living area, dining room, kitchen, wine bar, room with billiards/dart and toilette.
On the 2nd floor are three bedrooms and a terrace with the roof where guests can relax in with a beautiful panoramic view and nice breeze during the summer, do cardio training.
Two master bedrooms are at 3rd floor.
All bedrooms and a living room have a flat-screen TV and the villa is fully air-conditioned, thus covered with wireless internet connection
There is a covered outdoor kitchen with barbecue and outdoor dining area.
Other outdoor amenities are swimming pool of 40 m² (10m*4m, 1,5-1,6m depth) with shallow 0,4m, with cover and heated out of the summer season. bicycles, and children's playground, shower and lounge chairs by the pool.
Hot tube and sauna are in the room next to the pool and there is shower room and toilette.
Parking is provided for 4 cars.

Villa Joe is situated in the peaceful village Mocici, part of Cilipi in Konavle municipality, most beautiful part of the Dubrovnik Riviera. Cilipi are the largest settlement in Konavle.
5 km from the villa is the nearest village by the see is Cavtat with plenty of bars, restaurants, beautiful walking paths by the see.
There is also Molunat which is one of the southernmost places of Croatia, near the border with Montenegro which is 20 km away.
Villa Joe is located 18 km from Dubrovnik.
In Konavle field abot 10 km from the villa is beautiful river Ljuta with old mill and beautiful nature.
In the area are several good winery and agritourisms serving traditional dishes.
Lovers of cycling can choose any of the bike trails length of 10 kilometers or more.
5 km away is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic "Pasjaca" whose beauty and purity of the sea are breathtaking. Also in the range of 3-5 km are plenty of different beaches, Plat beach, beach Rat Cavtat, beach Zal Cavtat (ideal for kids)...
Through entire area are hiking trails that allow you to enjoy the untouched nature, but also to get to the unique beaches Konavle rocks.
Villa Joe is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Konavle, panoramic views of the sea and garden facing the south and it ideal for a comfortable and peaceful vacation without the hustle and bustle.
Due to Villa Joe location near the border, it is a perfect location for those who, except from Dubrovnik and its surroundings, want to make daily trips and visit Montenegro (Porto Montenegro, Kotor, Budva...) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Trebinje. Mostar Waterfalls Kravice, Blagaj...).

Lovely late break in Dubrovnik

Excellent property - heated pool, hot tub. Lovely and clean - great size house. Lovely host - very helpful. Close to the airport, but you do need a car. We had a lovely time.

What a fab villa

We have recently returned from a weeks stay at Villa Joe and we couldn't have asked for more. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, sending us helpful links to local supermarkets, places to visit and also regularly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The villa is very well stocked and is decorated beautifully. Given it is only a very short walk from the airport, the villa is so well insulated that any plane noise really isn't an issue and in fact the close proximity is only really of benefit. We found it to be a great base from which to visit nearby towns. It is a beautiful villa, set in wonderful surroundings and we really would like to visit again.

Amazing Villa and host!

We have just arrived back from Villa Joe and wow....what an amazing villa! We travel a lot and can honestly say we have never stayed in such a lovely, well kept and well stocked villa. It catered for every need and Amila, our host was so attentive and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. The Villa is 5 minutes drive into Cavtat and although we did hire a car, taxis were easy to get in the evenings and very cheap. Couldn't fault it!

A wonderful find, perfect in every way. The accommodation was of a very high standard in all aspects of comfort and cleanliness. Alima was a wonderful host, friendly, helpful and very keen to please, nothing was too much trouble.

Stunning villa for a relaxing getaway

I stayed at Villa Joe in September 2019 for three nights with a group of seven artist friends and had an absolutely fantastic time. The property was even more impressive than the photos show. It looked like we were the first guests after a fresh renovation - it was that clean and perfect-looking - but in reality it's just an extremely well-maintained home that has been lovingly decorated and cared for by the owners, Amila and Rusmer. The bedrooms are spacious and airy with immaculate linens and modern ensuite bathrooms, but the historic flavor of the property has been maintained, with beams and stone walls throughout. The living spaces are expansive and open, with plenty of room for a large group to mingle, cook, and relax. The kitchen was well-equipped, with multiple coffee makers, plenty of dishes and cutlery, and lots of cooking utensils. The outdoor spaces were beautiful and well-maintained. Amila was quick and responsive in answering all of my pre-trip questions and even offered to pick up our large group (and all our luggage) from the airport, which is only a 5-minute drive from Villa Joe. She helped us throughout our stay when we had questions or needed to arrange for local services or food delivery. She recommended restaurants and activities, which turned out to be wonderful, and she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful the entire time we were there. Villa Joe is very quiet, despite it being across the road and slightly over the hill from the Dubrovnik airport. It is not on the flight path for planes landing and departing from the airport, so we were rarely even aware that the airport was there. The close proximity made it really convenient, though, for pick-ups and drop-offs. We used Uber throughout our stay to get around locally, and had no problem booking rides using "Villa Joe, Mocici" as the address. The only drawback to this property is that it is not within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. If you don't have a car, you'll have to taxi/Uber everywhere or take the public bus. We LOVED our stay at gorgeous Villa Joe and were sorry to leave. I recommend it without reservation and will always remember with a smile the wonderful time I spent there with my friends.

Tres belle maison à coté de Dubrovnik

Maison entièrement et magnifiquement rénovée, avec de très belles et grandes chambres, literie parfaite. Le rez de chaussée est composé d'une grande cuisine très bien équipée, d'une cave voutée et d'une petite salle de billard. Mais c'est dehors que c'est encore mieux: piscine, jaccuzzi, sauna, grande table pour déjeuner à l'ombre, cuisine d'été avec barbecue à l'abri, vélos à disposition... Cela correspond parfaitement à l'annonce. La propriétaire et sa fille sont charmantes, font tout pour que ca se passe le mieux possible. La maison est située à 30 minutes de Dubrovnik (bon, ca dépend de la circulation l'été), très proche d'un petit supermarché. Nous ne sommes restés que deux nuits, mais on aurait aimé prolonger le séjour! Seule petite chose à noter: si vous regardez sur un plan, c'est juste à coté de l'aéroport. Mais, franchement, pas de nuisance sonore, on entend parfois quelques secondes les avions mais ça ne gène pas du tout. Allez y, vous allez vous régaler!

Beautiful Villa in a beautiful place

We stayed here as a group of 11 people and were absolitely amazed at how fantastic this place is. It was everything we had hoped and more. The owners have thought of everything and the villa lacked nothing to keep the kids entertained and the adults relaxed all week. Noting was a problem for Amila and her husband who ensured that our holiday in Croatia was one to remember. We would definitely like to return one day!

A little corner of paradise!

A beautiful place and a wonderful villa! I cannot believe that the airport is two minutes away by car and only across the road as the crow flies: apparently it’s better to be beside an airport than under the flight path! Somehow the architecture of Villa Joe leads to poolside tranquillity! Sure, you hear the odd aeroplane, but it’s negligible – the occasional buzz in the distance. There are times in life when you can’t believe your luck: sunshine, blue skies, a light breeze, a beautiful pool (jakuzzi and sauna if you like that kind of thing), surrounded by nature but with all the facilities, combined with the faultless hospitality provided by Amila, Rusmir and their charming daughter, Ena, when she could take a break from her studies in Sarajevo. How delightful to watch the swallows dipping into the pool and flitting in and out of the buildings (even the kitchen!); to admire the incredible Adriatic sunset from their “Glorijet” (summer living area/gazebo) enjoying an aperitif, with nothing between you and the sea but olive trees, vines and kitchen garden plots; hikes, bike rides, culture and excellent restaurants on your doorstep. Go for a morning coffee in Cavtat or for a dip in the clear blue Adriatic with its backdrop of islands and enjoy the wonderful colours at any time of day. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and comfort was optimum. Not to mention the bedding – top quality hotel class comfort. On our last day, my son asked why we couldn’t stay longer!

A wonderful stay

We spent three days in the marvellous house of Amila for our business seminar. We really enjoyed our stay ! The house was very spacious, clean, well located in a quiet area and beautiful ! Amila, our guest, was amazing with us. She went to the store and brought us croatian foods which were delicious for our first meal. Also, she helped us to book a boat tour in Dubrovnik. She was very attentive to our request. I strongly recomend you to book this house, you will not be disapointed !

Zeer dicht bij de luchthaven van Dubrovnik, maar zonder lawaai; een prachtige landelijke omgeving met uitzicht op het groen, een landelijk gebied en een verre uitzicht op de zee. Zeer ontspanend na een bezoek aan het drukke Dubrovnik. Het wordt aanbevolen om een ​​auto te hebben, maar het is gemakkelijk om alle belangrijke lokale locaties te bereiken (Dubrovnik 15 min, Cavtat 5 min, Montenegro 20 min, etc.). Speciale dank aan onze uiterst behulpzame gastheren die niet beter of meer voor ons hadden kunnen doen, die fantastische mensen die de behoefte aan privacy begrepen maar die bij de hand waren wanneer we het nodig hadden.
