Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our family vacation stay here! The house was spotless, beautiful, and perfect for our family of six. It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. Beautiful and close to everything! Loved the grounds and exploring the area. I highly recommend this house

Excellent secluded stay close to Acadia

Everything was perfect for our family. This secluded home had a firepit and all the needed amenities. The host was super friendly and responsive. The home was convenient for our Acadia hikes and downtown Bar Harbor. Highly recommend this place.

Cozy Convenient Cottage near Acadia

This was the perfect house for our family time in Acadia. Brandi was an amazing host! The house was well stocked with convenience items as well as games for our children. Although we did not use the fire pit in the yard , it was a beautiful space to enjoy.Highly recommend staying here for your Maine escape!

3 Night Stay

Great place! Very clean and well maintained. The washer and dryer was clutch for us. About 20 minutes to Bar Harbor. A/C unit is on lower floor. The upstairs can get warm especially when everyone is taking showers. We slept with windows open and fans pulling in the cool night air. It was July so most of the year it’s cooler in the daytime. Would stay again.

Thank you for your review! We really appreciate your feedback, especially about being warm upstairs. We want our guests to have a great vacation and if you can't sleep well because it's too hot then you won't have energy for all the fun stuff the next day. So, we installed a/c for the upstairs!! Thanks Jason :)

We had a great experience! House is spectacular. The kitchen has everything you need. It was within 20 minutes to everything we wanted to do. We used the fire pit most nights and the living room had a perfect setup. The fire pit had an over the fire grill grate which we used and had fun playing with. The house had everything you need and more. Thanks again for everything. Hope to come back soon!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located in Custer - so close to many things you want to do. It is on the main road into town, so you hear every loud truck or motorcycle going by. Anyone with little nappers during the day should be aware. The house was extremely clean and well cared for. It was well appointed with cleaning supplies and most things you need in the kitchen. Some food staples from previous guests were in the cabinets, which was nice - such as spices, baking items, etc. We left extra ice in the freezer! Water pressure and temp is great in both baths. The beds are foam and right in the middle between firm and plush to hopefully please most people. It is an old house so temp regulation in the upper level is tricky when its warm out. The stairs to the upper level are steep and there is no railing, so if anyone has balance issues or tough going up the stairs, keep that in mind. The only bedroom on the main level is the bunk room which is cute and quanity but for kiddo sizes only. The host was responsive and gracious! We really enjoyed our time in the Black Hills and thought this house was a great home base. I would recommend staying here to friends, family and others.

Maxwell, I appreciate that you took the time to review but I don't think you have the right house. Our home is not in Custer or the Black Hills. I don't know where that is. Our home is near Acadia National Park and not on a main road so it's actually very quiet out in the woods. The stairs are not steep and we do have railings! We do not have a main floor bedroom and do not have bunk beds at all. Our home is a brand new build and not hard to regulate the heat with the hvac system and radiant heating. Respectfully, I think you may have accidentally mixed up the review of the houses you stayed at. No worries :)
