The cabin was wonderful and we savored every minute we spent by the lake! We loved the magical path through the woods to Lily Lake. We gathered a handful blue berries, picked up a few special rocks and enjoyed the stars at night. Perfect vacation!
This vacation haven was the perfect getaway for us. The house provided spectacular views of the harbor. We watched beautiful storm clouds roll in during the evening. We were amazed at the wildlife we could see from our windows overlooking the harbor: eagles, blue jays, hummingbirds, beavers. It was a serene paradise. We didn't want to leave the house - and we didn't have to. The hosts were so considerate in providing anything someone could need, from cooking supplies to plenty of linens and extra toiletries. We were so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The area has an abundance of biking trails for the avid bicyclists - we only wish we had more time to take advantage of them. Overall, we would definitely return to this beautiful getaway!
My family spent a few days enjoying the solitude this home offers. It's located on a private drive that's a few miles north of the northernmost town in Michigan. We barely saw anyone else while we were there.Amazing views of Brockway Mountain when it's clear, and the harbor in front of the cabin is very calm. Did plenty of kayaking and paddleboarding (the kayaks provided worked great). Water is typical Lake Superior - cold and clean and clear. Spent hours scouring the shorelines rock hunting, and warmed up next to a bonfire.Property itself was very well maintained. We had no issues getting into the home with the code provided, and instructions for everything was provided inside. Everything worked well, we were able to watch satellite TV and some DVD's. Kids took over the top floor, and the spiral staircase was a big hit. Bugs were minimal, and we only saw birds, a deer and a muskrat while there. Unfortunately it was cloudy/hazy for much of the time, so we didn't get much stargazing or northern lights viewing in.I only had a few questions for the owners ahead of time, and they were very responsive - often within minutes. Great little location for a family trip. Copper Harbor itself is a very small town, but we were able to enjoy some dinners and shopping.Overall very fun vacation, and look forward to checking this place out again in the future.
What a peaceful and private spot to use as a home base to enjoy the Copper Harbor area. The cabin is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well supplied. The view of the harbor and the beach outside the door is enough to spend the day right there. We loved it.
This was the second time we have rented this location. It has some of the most beautiful views we have ever seen. House has everything that you would want. It's clean, comfortable and gorgeous!
We loved everything about this place. We found lots of new things to do in the area, and also very much enjoyed our time at our home base. We hope to return another time!
An amazing cabin and lake view. Great experience for our family. Cabin was amazing, the view of the lake was spectacular. The cabin is beautiful and clean. Muriel and Keith were easy and great to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to get away to.
On top of the U.S., clean, welcoming, tranquility at its fineness. Perfect relaxation, breath in the cleanest air and enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets. Owners communicated well. Definitely would love to stay again. Thank You Again!!!
There’s no spot like this in CH. Secluded yet 5 min drive to downtown. Perfect view of the harbor. Wonderful swimming. Beautiful home with great amenities. 👍👍
The best, by far the best place I have ever stayed and visited. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay there during the 4th of July. Great quiet place to enjoy and relax. Outside of the house no phone service just the wilderness! Definitely recommending and will visit again! Great an lovely ownership!
Another phenomenal stay. Gorgeous sunsets over Brockway Mountain, Hooded mergansers fishing, Belted Kingfisher chatter and a family of otters provided the best entertainment. We watched the fog roll in one morning. It’s quite the impressive thing to see. Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s in the best location, super comfy, good Wi-fi and has a great fire pit. I dare say, it’s perfect. We hope to stay again next year. It’s a highlight of our fall UP trip.
This cabin is absolutely perfect. The sunsets are amazing. The ammenities both inside the cabin and outside are wonderful. The cabin was impeccably clean when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We hope to be back one day!
This property and home are what my husband and I look forward to each year. Muriel and Keith do an outstanding job keeping up on every aspect of it. Thank you for everything!
We stayed at this lovely home for a peaceful getaway and peaceful it was. The property and house is beautifully maintained and had everything we could have ever wanted or needed. The host Muriel was kind and responsive and last but not least the view and sound of Lake Superior right outside your door was sublime. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Muriel for a wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was perfect. The views were amazing. Watching the wildlife, the sunsets or the fog rolling in were a highlight of our day. It doesn’t get any better than that. Hope we get the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us.

Gorgeous cabin - gorgeous setting!
This cabin was fantastic. Not only is the setting the best that nature can offer, but it was obvious that great care is taken on the inside as well. Going to this cabin felt like we were going into someone's home. It is beautifully decorated and cared for, it was very clean and everything we needed was at our fingertips. I will definitely come back to this one in the future!
We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at the house at the same time of year last fall. 1st time I’ve ever stayed in the same place twice and that’s because the place is perfect for me. There’s absolutely no beating the location. Long walks every day, amazing sunsets; and even when the weather didn’t cooperate it was peaceful space full of interesting local history to read up on. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.
Seeking an escape? Look no further. All the conveniences and amenities you could ask for at a remote and serene location. Beautiful sunsets over Copper Harbor lighthouse, private road offered room to stretch our legs, sightings of otters frolicking, beavers gathering sticks, wood ducks floating, eagles hunting for fresh fish, and signs from larger land predators. We enjoyed all of the above. Unique property with very responsive hosts. (Note from host approved Labrador: Good sniffs on walks. Swam a lot. Saw frens in lake fetching sticks, but they didn’t speak dog and tails were big and flat.)
