Family Friendly 4BR, 3 Bath Cabin w/Hot Tub in the heart of the Black Hills

FALL/WINTER SPECIAL - During the off season (Dec thru March, excluding holidays) you can rent for only $150 per night (less than half price) (does not include additional fees) for up to 4 people with a stay of 3 or more nights (each additional guest is only $20 per night). It is strongly recommended that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the winter season (October thru April).

We now have wifi at the cabin and free long distance calling.

Come enjoy our beautiful log home centrally located in the Black Hills 9 miles west of Hill City, SD. It is a secluded location where deer, elk, turkey, birds and other wildlife live and roam. It is open year round and has a hot tub for one of those romantic getaways or to use after a long day of snowmobiling, four-wheeling, horse-back riding, hiking or hunting. NOTE:
We do have Security cameras on the front and back of the cabin for security purposes. The camera in the front is located under the front deck and points out towards the driveway (away from the cabin). The camera at the back of the property is located on the bottom side of the back of the deck and is pointing away from the hot tub towards the back of the property (we can not see anything in the hot tub itself.).

This is a Smoke free cabin and no pets are allowed!!

Great group place!

We had our family of 5 stay over Christmas. It was perfect. The owners even had a Christmas tree set up for us. The house is big enough we could’ve had a family twice our size stay there! Lots of space to do our individual things, but great to all sit together when we wanted.

This was just what we were looking for! Located near all of the attractions but set apart from other houses and cabins. Great view; spacious cabin. Host was great. We loved the hot tub!

An excellent place to stay!

This is a very spacious, clean cabin about 20 minutes from Mount Rushmore. My kids loved the cabin. It was well stocked with kitchen utensils, tools, games, blankets etc. Anyone wanting a breath of fresh mountains scenery in comfort, I’d recommend this property.

What a gorgeous place! Amazing view, the cabin is so family friendly, and comfortable! Close to a lot of the major sight seeing attractions, the owners were wonderful people to talk to! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect getaway!!! 10 stars!

Relaxing Hill City Retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin during our family vacation to South Dakota. It was the perfect setting and atmosphere to relax after a long day of adventures around the Black Hills. The location is beautiful, the cabin was very clean and in pristine condition when we arrived, and we were pleasantly surprised how much space there is inside. Great location for side by siding. There was 6 of us. All adults age ranging from 50 to 89. The cabin has plenty of room with 3 floors. Very private setting. Deer in yard every morning. Highly recommend this cabin.♥️

Very Clean - Totally Accurate Description

I'm impressed with how thoroughly clean the whole property was, and everything was exactly as described/pictured. The bed was even comfortable. Bonus - there's a foosball table in the basement. I do recommend this property, and I would return.

Beautiful Setting

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was so quiet and peaceful. It’s close to hiking and biking trails in and around the national park. We saw deer and heard wildlife all around us. There is plenty of room-we all had our own floors and bathrooms! The owners are very responsive and the cabin is clean and we had everything we needed. It was a great vacation and I’d love to come back.

Sightseeing and relaxing!

Beautiful cabin in a central location for sightseeing all the area has to offer. Deer met us at the front porch when we arrived, and watching the wildlife from the decks in the evening was a great way to finish our day. We had some older people with us so the main floor bedrooms were perfect for them, while my wife and I used the upstairs bedroom. We were located about 10 miles above Hill City which had plenty of local eateries. We did several wine and brewery stops. One day we drove through Spearfish Canyon (a must) on our way to Deadwood. Mount Rushmore was awesome, take your time and enjoy. Crazy Horse was very nice but you will have to spend a little money to get in. We drove through Custer State Park, this is an absolute must see! Take your time and take a lot of pictures! Note, it's best if you have a smaller vehicle. We loved our trip, Jerome and Barb did everything they could to make our stay perfect. A special thanks to Sarah for her cleaning and pointing us to Mt. Meadows for breakfast. Please understand if you are looking for quiet and beauty this is an awesome choice. Remember there is no cell service or wifi! Thanks again to Barb & Jerome for a truly wonderful stay. Kevin

It was good. Hard to find after dark. Long way from town. More do's and donts than other places we've rented. Quiet which was nice. Not a fan of the deer mounts, its a bit overwhelming.

Beautiful Week in the Mountains

We really enjoyed our week in the mountains. There was plenty of room to spread out in the cabin and view you can't beat. Hill City had fun shops and good eats.

Annual trip

We typically like a cabin more ‘off the beaten path’; this one is right off a highway. It was still a very nice cabin, had most of what we needed and we enjoyed the decks for relaxing. Owner was always quick to respond to any questions.
