Battle Creek Station is a newer home in a beautiful location surrounded by trees, with the historic Battle Creek and the 1880 train going through the back property. Wake up each morning and watch the 1880 train pass by or enjoy your coffee on the back porch with the visiting wildlife. Cook in the gourmet kitchen or soak in the master tub by the relaxing gas fireplace. If you're planning a motorcycle trip, this home has no gravel except on the driveway and one car stall carport to park in. Bringing ATV's/UTV's? There are nearby forest service roads for riding and the Hill City trails aren't far away! With everything so convenient in a beautiful location, why stay anywhere else? Being set in the forest yet, only 3.5 miles to Keystone and 4 miles to Mt. Rushmore, makes this the perfect combination of convenience and country.
If you're in the area for adventure, this home is near Forest Service roads, ATV/UTV/snowmobile specific trails, Horsetheif Lake for fishing, and hiking in the Black Hills National Forest. This Battle Creek Station can sleep 6 comfortably.

our trip was me and my wife, and her 82 year old father who has never been to the Black Hills. Property worked very well for us, and the location worked well.
5 stars We loved absolutely everything about this beautiful house. They have everything you need.Stocked kitchenAmazing washer and dryer Big comfy beds Bathrooms are cozy with a nice fireplace in master. Love the train and train tracks in back yard. The cute friendly deer’s that visit each morning. The decor is simply beautiful. We loved everything about it.
What an amazing property! My grandsons and I had a wonderful time in South Dakota. The property is clean, everything works well and was well equipped for preparing meals. Plus the view was fantastic. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed this house very much. There was plenty of room for our family of six, and it was clean and well kept. There was one problem, which the owner corrected right away. We highly recommend this place.
Beautiful home!! Very clean and looks brand new. Quiet location with scenic views. This home is set just minutes away from downtown Keystone and approximately a 10 minute drive from Mt. Rushmore, it is the perfect location. This home was the perfect spot for our family of 6. We enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it.
We had so much fun staying at the Battle Creek Station home. Beautiful home, elegantly decorated with everything you need to enjoy time with family. We enjoyed watching the 1880 train go by and also enjoyed having a nice grill on the back deck. The beds are so comfortable. We really enjoyed ourself and can't wait to come back! Thank you!
This rental was very beautiful and the location was perfect for everything that the Black Hills has to offer. The beds were very comfortable as well. The price of the cabin was questionable due to the fluctuating prices. Our nights were priced significantly higher than the nights after our stay. And the fees were higher than we have been paying for other VRBO cabins in the past. Other wise, very lovely place.
The home was inviting and very well appointed. The setting was beautiful and it is right in the middle of a number of Black Hills destinations. We enjoyed Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, Deadwood, Custer, Lead, Sturgis, Wall Drug, The Badlands, Iron Mountain Rd., Custer State Park, Spearfish Canyon, Old Hill, Crazy Horse and all of the amazing beauty of the Black Hills.
The furnishings in the house were all very nice and were all like new.
This owner and the property managers are doing an excellent job to ensure our vacation was as good as it could be. Thank You

This is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in while on vacation. It was very clean, smelled great but not overwhelming, perfect location, very well stocked kitchen with quality appliances, dishes, and cookware. They were very responsive to inquiries and questions.

This was our 30th wedding anniversary trip and I searched forever to find the perfect place for us to stay and we definitely found it. Easy access to Keystone and Hill City, but the beauty of being in a mountain home. Even though it was just the 2 of us, the house would easily accommodate 8 people with comfort. Our stay was just perfect and we can't wait to stay again!! Thank you for helping make a special anniversary getaway even that more beautiful. I never really had to work with anyone. We booked online with ease, payments understood and taken when scheduled, and informative emails were received. It was easy!
