Andrew was able to adjust our stay to accommodate us a day early due to an impending storm. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful views. The retreat is absolutely beautiful!
Everything was great! Very quiet and serene, we really needed a break from our small business, it was a great location for this. We enjoyed the market in Tatamagouche. Overall good stay!
My husband and I really lucked out when we found this place to stay while our teenaged kids were at a youth conference nearby for the weekend. We had a lovely and relaxing stay and got to explore Tatamagouche wh anticipated!

Thanks so much for your wonderful review, we’d love to have you guys back anytime :)
Loved the cottage and our stay there. We will be returning, for sure. Hot Tub was a welcome addition. Watching the night sky while soaking in hot tub was a highlight.
This is the perfect get-away for a couple. It's modern, bright, clean and pleasant. Reading and barbecue dinners on the deck, evenings in the hot tub under the stars. In-suite laundry and small dishwasher, but no microwave. All dishes, pots and pans, and linens supplied. In a cottage neighbourhood with quiet neighbours. View of the cove and great beachcombing. This part of the Northumberland Strait has rocky beaches but warm water for a summer swim. Close to the amenities of Tatamagouche (stores, Saturday farmers' market, chocolatier, brewery) but hidden away on a remote point (gravel road for about a kilometer). Enjoy!
This rental was the most well stocked rental we've stayed at - from kitchen utensils to spices and condiments to bathroom toiletries. The rest of the property was very clean and cozy, with a great view of the water through the huge sliding doors. Our stay was close to the holidays, and the little Christmas tree was nice touch we appreciated. The road to the property was rough, so future guests should be aware of the time of year they decide to book if their vehicle isn't equipped to handle muddy slopes.
This place is even better than the photos show. Stunning view, large deck, hot tub was excellent for morning coffee & evening drinks. I love the layout of the house and it was very clean, well appointed, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We laughed until we cried painting each other’s portraits with the art supplies. Allyson & Andrew made sure to check in with us to ensure everything was going well. They were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the town of “Tata especially the “train ride” through town. Great little getaway in a wonderful spot. Thanks for everything Andrew & Allyson! Hopefully we will be back someday soon.
Andrew and Allyson have a special place here! You have built a beautiful home with all anyone could need when traveling. I have to say the mosquitos are fierce n I believe a screen house is absolutely required to allow yard use, being unable to enjoy your beautiful property was really the only downfall of this rental.
