Over all great place to stay if you have a large family. Great location if you want to go to a concert, Weirs Beach, Fun Spot, and a little over an hr to Saco River and atv ride. House was clean, kitchen was stocked with pans and dishes and even spices. FYI, if you bring a dog, they don’t want it peeing in the grass. You have to try your hardest to get your dog to go at the edge of the woods in the back or go for a walk. Also, FYI, the owner lives across the street. Just thought people should know. I understand the property is theirs, but it would have been nice to know that they would still be using the property. We were a little weirded out on our last day there. We were leaving and someone pulled in the driveway. They were putting their car in the garage. We just didn’t know what was happening. When we came home that night there was 2 cars in the driveway and people hanging at the street. Made me think I got my dates wrong and we were supposed to leave. What really freaked us out is a van pulling in back yard at 11 pm and smoking weed. My husband went out to talk to him and the man said the owner told him he could spend the night in the backyard. The owner was having a reunion. Again, all not a big deal, it is their property, but it would have been nice to know. My kids were really creeped out with a man in the backyard. I’ve rented many homes for vacations and never had this experience. Overall it was a cozy home and great stay.
