A Nightmare

From the moment we arrived, we felt uncomfortable. We were approached by local individuals who questioned why we were there and only after some conversing they “approve” our presence. Throughout the day, cars frequently drove slowly or sped past, as if monitoring us. The next morning, I received an aggressive message from the host accusing us of having a party and demanding we leave immediately, even though we had two more nights booked. While getting dressed for the wedding, the host sent her brother to the property, who shut off the water & a/c. We had to get ready under extremely uncomfortable conditions. She even called my family ni**ers over her Ring. When we returned that evening from the wedding, we discovered the access code had been changed while our belongings were still inside. We had to enter through the garage to retrieve our things. Suspicious cars began driving by again. The host’s brother returned, threatened us, told us we “wouldn’t make it out of the neighborhood alive,” and tried to block us in with his vehicle. We were forced to call the police for an escort to safely retrieve the rest of our vehicles. This experience caused immense stress and fear for me and my family. We were threatened, harassed, and told we’d be charged 500 per hour. The host even had neighbors take photos over the fence, invading our privacy, and monitored us via cameras.

Worst guests you could ever imagine, highly recommend banning from all rental platforms. The guests broke the house rules by throwing a party and partying until 6am. Multiple neighbors were furious and are also going to take a lawsuit against guests. They threw their crawfish boils over to the neighbors yard and got their dogs seriously sick. The cops were called multiple times regarding the party and the next morning I kicked them out. They refused to leave, threatened my cleaning staff with a weapon, I have all the video footage for proof. After there reservation was canceled and kicked out they broke into the house while leaving the garage open to get back in. I had multiple cleaning crews refused to clean the house how bad it smelt and how many flies they left inside they broke the dishwasher and the garbage disposal and left the kitchen flooded. Terribly the worst experience I have ever had!!!! Please ban these guests that don’t know how to act like adults and respect others property!!!
