Truly Paradise

As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. The home itself was very clean and cozy with all the comforts needed. Located very close to town with shopping center, restaurants, etc. The children loved exploring the levadas and trails, and especially loved the peacocks! We will certainly be staying here again on our next trip to Madeira.

Super sorgsame Gastgeberin. Unser Haus war sehr gemütlich und warm ( trotz Winterwetters auf Madeira). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ruime, mooie woning op een prachtig terrein. Duidelijke instructies en informatie.Alles helemaal naar wens. Het enige minpuntje was de vochtigheidsgraad in de woning. Er staat een ontvochtiger en dat is voor alle kamers (boven) geen overbodige luxe. Deze moest elke dag aan omdat het anders te klam is in de slaapkamers.

Erholsamer Paradiesgarten

Die Häuser sind liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt. Der Service ist rücksichtsvoll und sorgfältig, die Gastgeberin warmherzig und verantwortungsvoll. Die Häuser liegen wunderbar, sie bieten Erholung und sind doch nicht weit entfernt von Wanderungen, Schwimmen im Meer oder einen Bummel in der Stadt. Ein wunderbarer Ort für die ganze Familie.

Madere entre montagne et mer

Encerclé de verdure, de plein pied, magique ! Très calme, pain fait maison … accès à la cote sud très facile et montagnes aussi, idéal pour visiter le centre et l’est de l’île

Superbe séjour !

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour en février 2020, logés dans la casa alho de la propriété. Le site est vaste, très beau, doté d'une importante variété d'arbres et fleurs. Relativement central, il est permet de rayonner sur l'ensemble de l'ile. La maison est très agréable, cosy, au calme. Nos hôtes nous ont réservé le meilleur accueil et ont été aux petites soins tout au long du séjour. Je recommande vivement as casas do vale paraiso !!

Wonderful tranquil house located in botanical garden

Sofia's house was simply dream come true. It is located in very well maintained botanical garden, away from any city sounds. You'll be awakened by the bird's songs and nice sun. You can spend the evening with friends around the fireplace with some wine and sit around during the day in the gardens or the levada walks that start just 25m away from your doorstep!

De superbes vacances chez Sofia

Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables à Camacha. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le cadre de vie, l'accueil et la gentillesse de Sofia, les attentions et services de Léonor. La localisation est idéale pour sillonner Madère de long en large et profiter également de Funchal. De plus Camacha est une commune très active avec un festival la semaine du 15/8 et l'on partage vraiment la vie des madériens. Le soir, il est très agréable de se retrouver dans un cadre très verdoyant et au calme. Nous y reviendrions bien volontiers. A recommander.

Very nice cottage

We (two adults and a 14-year old boy) spent two very agreeable weeks in this cottage. It sits in a wild (and beautiful) garden, offering perfect privacy. Inside we found everything clean and convenient. There's a supermarket at 2 kilometers. Great base for a walking vacation.

"An address to keep preciously"

We spent 15 wonderful days in our small hourse "Palheirinho". This charming house surrounded by a private garden offers all as a traveler in search of comfort research. Casas Valleparaizo is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation closer to nature. The house spread out over a very large area offer plenty of privacy and independence. We enjoyed the little touches of Leonor et Sofia and their extremely warm welcome. The situation Casas Valleparaizo in Camacha is ideal. It's easy to stock in Supermarket and the small farmers' market on the village square. It's also easy to visit the island from Camache and very nice to be only 15 minutes from the pleasant capital Funchal. Isabelle M Paris, France

House with an impresive garden to enjoy nature

We have been at Casa Vaquinha for one month, in August, 2015. We are a couple with two children (4 and 6 years old). The house is very well equipped: 4 electric hobs, oven, fridge, micro-wave, toaster, coffee machine, hair drier, hand blender, fireplace, … There is no washer machine but you can use the one at the main house facility. We had everything we needed. It has two bedrooms at the upper floor, both with twin beds (quite comfortable) and two bathrooms (one of them with a bath at the upper floor and the other one with a shower at the main floor). The kitchen and the living room are at the main floor too. The house is surrounded by a private garden full of trees and flowers. The garden is a paradise!! There is a barbeque outside, garden furniture, and they even set a small pool for the children. We enjoyed a lot at the garden. Every morning we woke up with the rooster crowing and a peacock visited us some days. Sofia and Leornor (the housekeeper) are really friendly and helpful. They cleaned the house every two days. She even brought us fresh bread every Saturday morning. There are many trails and “levadas” nearby. Wifi signal was good. Parking is at the main house parking lot which is next to our house. We had a wonderful stay there so we recommended.
