Great location, walkable to downtown restaurants, bars, shops. Short drive to Purdue U. House is charming, comfy beds. No problems finding street parking. Laura was easily accessible.
House was beautiful and spacious. It was perfect size for our family with two grown boys. The shuffleboard provided fun entertainment. The house was clean and inviting. We all felt like it is a house we would want to live in. The location was ideal (though a busy street, you never could tell once inside). You were close to Purdue campus and “the college town” area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. The historic home was absolutely lovely and was beautifully decorated. Laura's home is so cozy and inviting, and it felt like a true home away from home while we visited our Purdue student. We really enjoyed the shuffleboard table, the record player and the games & puzzle. The kitchen was also lovely and had everything we could have needed, plus a great assortment of snacks and coffee. Laura was also very responsive and accommodating. Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!
The house was nice and a good walking location to the main street area. The oven needed directions and the owner was helpful. The tubs are high off of the ground so it was a little difficult for my elderly in-laws. Comfortable to just hang out at the home. Great air conditioning
This was a great place to stay for Purdue move in. It was convenient to downtown restaurants and, while not right next to campus, certainly not far from there or the big box stores we had to frequent multiple times for things we forgot. This is a beautiful old house. I grew up in one, so these things don’t bother me. However, renters should be aware that there are sloping floors, the overhead lighting isn’t great, and the stairs are extremely steep. These things were not issues for us and only added to the charm of the place. We had fun with the shuffleboard (though we were terrible), and we also enjoyed the record player, once we remembered how to operate it. I would stay here again. It was great to have more space for all of the move-in things we hauled with us.
Amazing property and a great location. We had an amazing time and the owner’s made it about as easy as you possibly can. Would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay there again.
