Wailea Ekahi 51B is a luxury high end condo in the highly sought after ocean front complex Wailea Ekahi Village. We purchased this condo and have completely remodeled it . The results are stunning. This is the largest one bedroom two bath plan in Ekahi. We have converted it into a sophisticated upscale condo complete with everything necessary for you to simply enjoy and relax or elaborately entertain.

Ekahi 51B is a ground floor unit in a very private and quiet location. The condo is open and bright and the extra large lanai is a serene and tranquil space to enjoy the beautiful ocean and lush floral views! The sunset view from our condo is gorgeous!

The gourmet kitchen is large and upscale with magnificent granite counters and elegant cabinetry. It has been fully equipped to even satisfy a creative chef.

We have added two built in ready-made bunks to the unit to allow more space for your family. Each bunk has its own reading light and 32' flat screen television.

The bathrooms are lavish and modern with an organic feel to them. Both bathrooms have marble walk in showers with adjustable shower heads for height and spray. The master bath houses a dressing counter and the marble shower has a multi jet spray with three body jets as well as the main adjustable head.

WAILEA EKAHI VILLAGE

Ekahi means number one in Hawaiian and that is exactly what this friendly beachfront resort is. It is located on the sunny south shore of Maui. It has 34 acres of beautifully landscaped mature tropical grounds and home to exotic birds and flowers, two herb gardens, as well as lime, papaya, and avocado trees. There are four swimming pools. The main pool is beautifully located at oceanfront with stunning panoramic views for watching sunsets and the thousands of whales that migrate to Maui each year. The main pool is heated and has a covered beachfront pavilion with ice maker, full kitchen, bathroom with showers, grills and gym. All pools have loungers, tables and chairs for your leisure. For activity we have pickle ball courts and shuffleboard.

Our resort sits on one of the finest beaches in Maui, KEAWAKAPU Beach. It is known for its great swimming conditions and excellent snorkeling. A great beach for kids as the undertow is not strong. It is perfect for boogie boarding, sand castle building, exploring the reef, jogging, or romantic strolls. Just a few steps across the white sand in one direction is Wailea's five mile oceanfront boardwalk with hotels, spas and award winning restaurants. In the other direction you will also find dining and a place to enjoy pupus and fun drinks while watching the sunset.

Just a 10 minute walk from our perfectly located condo is the Shops at Wailea, a premier shopping and dining destination. It is home to more than 70 boutiques, shops, restaurants and galleries.

Wailea also boasts 3 golf courses and tennis club.

10/10 from the easy and quick communication with the host and property manager, to the most amazing home. The property had every amenity needed and then some. The cleanliness, layout, location, patio, pool, and all the additional things that came with it made the trip amazing. The beach is one of the most beautiful places on the island where we spent a lot of our time swimming, playing, and watching whales right from the beach. We will be back for sure.

Comfortable condo easily accessible to the Wailea beach path. Nice beach. The condo was well-appointed with all kitchen things one would want. Sunsets from the lanai are beautiful but more so from the property’s large green space or the beach.

Fantastic stay in an amazing location!

Shannon went above and beyond to assist us when our reservation was canceled due to the wildfire. This property far and away exceeded our expectations! It was immaculate, spacious and quiet. The views from the lanai were a great treat to wake up to and the unit is only a 5 minute walk to the pavilion/beach area. Highly recommended! Thank you!

What a fantastic VRBO. This place has the most beautiful Lanai for sitting outside and enjoying the view. There are flowers everywhere and a view of the ocean. The house was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. It felt like home with all the extras! We loved it and would come back!

Ekahi Condo

We have stayed 5 years in a row at Ekahi Village. The grounds and pools are amazing. This was our first time in this unit. We found it needed a good deep cleaning, appliances were dirty, and we had some cockroach problems we’ve never had before on any of our tropical stays. (We realize bugs are a part of life.). We also found the property manager delayed getting us a refund when we had to change our dates.

Great Ekahi stay.

Enjoyed our week in this condo. It is the largest 1bedroom we have stayed in at Ekahi. Loved the oversized lanai overlooking the ravine - nice private space to do morning yoga. Condo was well stocked with almost everything we needed. A few plastic wine glasses could be added to the kitchen collection. We appreciated the books and games that were provided. Owner and property manager were both accessible and helpful. We have stayed at Ekahi many times. The pool pavilion and beach can’t be beat!

The Perfect 40th Birthday

We have been to Maui a good number of times, and I don't think you can find a better spot. The Condo is very nice, has everything you would ever need, and is in a perfect location. The property itself matches the condo. Very nice, everything you would ever need (pools, beach/pool pavilion, one of the best beaches), all right there in a perfect location. The condo comes with every beach/pool gear you would need. The owner is responsive and very open, and friendly. Would stay here again and again. Look forward to coming back. We traveled the island, we stayed and had beach days with Sunsets, just everything was perfect for our trip. Cant wait for a redo. Thank for you helping make my wife's Birthday trip one she will never forget.

Great Place to Stay

Visited with my wife and teenager. We all loved it. We followed up our stay with a couple days at an expensive resort and everyone liked the condo better. Tips: (1) check out the beach equipment sooner rather than later. There's lots of great stuff in there. (2) If you're looking for bigger waves, we liked Chang's Beach, a 10 min drive south (sadly, no showers there) or Big Beach - though the waves there can be TOO big. Loved our stay and would absolutely recommend!

What a beautiful property and perfect location!! Amazing kitchen thoughtfully equipped with every appliance and gadget that anyone could ask for. Sleeping arrangements for a family is exceptional. I’ve been looking forward to this trip for nearly a year! When I saw this property was available, I jumped on it. The property is well maintained, clean, has all the amenities, is walking distance to the beach, close to the Wailea beach path, has fantastic pools and “neighbors.” We couldn’t have been more happy with the property, the location and our entire stay. It was perfection…and I really hope we can return one day. We will definitely plan our any future trips around this property’s availability. I have already recommended it to friends!

Large one bedroom with bunk beds off the living room, good for smaller children. Great kitchen with every possible cooking utensils, dishes and pots. Overall, the condo was upgraded several years ago but it is dark. Patio furniture could use some updating. Lots of beach toys, local property manager was very quick to respond to a concern. Good AC, 2 nice bathrooms and appliances are all great, nice to be able to do laundry. Mahalo!

Condo With Partial Ocean Views

The condo is located near the turnoff to go into the property. It has a partial ocean view, and it's about a five-minute walk to the large pool and amenities near the beach. The property in general is kept up well, and the pool area is well maintained and has lots of lounge and table seating, and some umbrellas. We enjoyed sitting by the pool when not on the beach. The condo itself was well equipped. The kitchen had just about anything you would need, and the owners had a nice supply of beach chairs, boogie boards, toys, etc. The condo has a nice deck and covered lanai area. As some reviewers have mentioned, the condo is a bit dark partially because of the dark walls and dark cabinets and granite in the kitchen. We thought the previous reviews were a bit inflated, because the some of the furniture and decor could use refurbishing. Although we probably would not choose this condo in the future, we did have a nice stay. This was at least our sixth stay in Wailea, and our first stay at Ekahi.

Great property, poorly managed.

We rented this as a staycation for a couple nights for Father’s Day. We spent the first two hours of the trip cleaning the property. We swept up 3 dust-pans full of sand and debris from someone else’s stay. There were drink marks on the counter tops, rings in the toilets, and laundry still in the dryer. The dishwasher was broken, and neither the WiFi nor the cable were functioning. We took cold showers. Luckily, the grounds were amazing and the pool was perfect for us! The condo has great potential to be a perfect getaway, but the owner needs to find a way to have it managed properly. I understand, with covid happening, that things haven’t been normal. But if you can’t have your property in shape enough to rent it out, don’t collect money on it. We were very disappointed.

Lovely property but in need of some TLC

The Ekahi complex is lovely with beautiful gardens and nice pools. The easy access to the beach is a huge plus of staying here. This unit had a pleasant view of the gardens. The unit was well equipped with almost everything you could need in the kitchen, but it does need a few repairs and some maintenance work done. As most reviews mention it is a little dark and the under cabinet lights don’t work. Our biggest complaint was due to the dishwasher. The closing mechanism broke on day 6 of our 9 day stay so I phoned the property manager as instructed. She didn’t call me back so I called her again the next day and she said she would send a handyman over to have a look. That day the handyman came by, took a look at the dishwasher and then left. We never heard anything back from either the property manager or the handyman so after another 2 days I messaged the owner here was her response: "the plumber has ordered a part but that part won't arrive to the island for a week. is there enough dish soap for washing? If you run out please let me know and I will hire the cleaner to deliver more." I think she should have sent the cleaner over to do the dishes. It still wasn’t repaired when we left on day 9. I would stay at the Ekahi again, but I don’t think I would book this particular unit.

We are a family of five who have been enjoying Maui for many years. When we stayed at Wailea Ekahi Village for the first time, we knew this gorgeous place on earth was where we would have a second home.

Having been to Maui many times over the years we have learned what makes a vacation with a family a little more smooth. We have tried to put all of those things into our condo ranging from hooks for hanging wet beach clothes, USB stick full of movies for children's 'down time', office desk for those of us who have to stay connected, a second fridge for thirsty kids, and many more.

We hope we haven't forgotten even the smallest detail to make your vacation, fun, easy and care-free. We want you to have all the amenities that you would have at home but know that you are away in a special heavenly place to relax and enjoy.
