Relax, read, watch wildlife, fish, boat, watersports, swim, you name it!
Find serenity on Norris Lake's calm waters while enjoying live music from the marina’s entertainment schedule or relax on your own private dock.

Newly remodeled and fully furnished floating house at Straight Creek Marina on Norris Lake. The floating house is 10' wide and 36' long. It is a one bedroom, one bath property. The house is attached to a private 12' wide and 32' long concrete dock for extra space for lounging, fishing, swimming, grilling and entertaining. The dock includes a gas grill, patio table with 4 chairs , patio umbrella, numerous adult floats, air pump for your convenience, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 2 lounge chairs, 2 fishing rods and a swim up ladder for easy access onto the dock.

The one bedroom is furnished with a fullsize bed, 2 nightstands with additional lighting for reading, luggage rack and laundry basket.

The livingroom area has a fullsize futon with its own linens and a mattress cover. Both beds have mattress covers and pillowcase protectors.

The kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker, 2 burner portable cooktop, toaster, microwave and refrigerator, dishes, glassware, cookware, and assorted spices for your cooking or grilling pleasure.

You don't need to worry about bringing towels, as we will supply the bath towels, hand towels and beach towels for your stay. The bathroom is equipped with a vanity and sink, toilet, and a shower. We also have a make-up mirror and hair dryer, so no need to pack them.

The dock store at the marina sells an assortment of snacks, homemade pizza, beer, soft drinks, and bait for fishing. Check out the Straight Creek Dock website for their entertainment schedule, which includes live bands on some Saturday evenings.

• pull the ladder out of the water stow it and all water toys where found upon arrival • if you used our cooler, please wash it out and leave with the lid open in the tiki hut.
• make sure you have locked both the front and back door. • plan your next stay with us!!

Really cool experience to stay on an old houseboat converted into a floating house and dock at the lake. Far enough away from the main channel that you don't have too much wave action. Definitely would recommend.
