Home was perfect, close to the beach and local shops. Our only complaint is the home is on well water and the system that filters wasn’t cleaned the night before our stay so the water was yellow and had an odor the whole next day.

Kitchen was not well equipped and thankful we brought paper products. Furniture in living area not very comfortable. No furniture in bedrooms other than the bed. The home was clean and roomy but not well furnished. Communication before check-in was very difficult. Spent almost 2 hours on the phone the night before check in because VRBO sent me an email stating the host should have reached out by now with check in details but I had not heard anything at all. Finally received check in info at around 2:00-2:30 on check in day.

Fishing Getaway

The house was laid out great, and was very convenient to markets and dollar stores. Bigger stores like Walmart are 15 minutes away. We fish the Stickmarah and Headwaters and it was a short drive from the house.

We were surprised to see how unmaintained it was ,there were at least fifteen brown recluse and black widow spiders and eggs by the front door and the garage door ,the lawn had not been mowed in at least 6 months and the toilets and showers were stained with build up from not being cleaned properly. The towels looked like they were from goodwill. And the ice in the freezer was yellow...I have ask for a refund but have not heard back our trip was ruined and had to cancel and go home.

Comes up Short

Nice house with lots of room. Beds were uncomfortable and sheets were cheap and would not stay on bed while being slept on. Love in great room for watching tv or relaxing were terrible. Could not sit on without slipping forward and off. House is on very busy dtreet

Dirty house and owner unwilling to address issues

I have stayed at this property in the recent past without any issues. Unfortunately, this time the house had not been cleaned and when I shared photos of the dirty conditions the owner completely avoided addressing them and only responded that the house was professionally cleaned to high standards and that he considered the situation resolved. I let him know that I was not satisfied with his response and sent him further photos of additional dirty areas. He never responded further. I have included the photos below. I filed a complaint to VRBO along with the photos. They apologized and said that the house was clearly not up to their standards and refunded the cleaning fee and part of the rate. This owner was completely indifferent to the issues and unresponsive. I would give zero stars if possible.
The bathroom sink faucet had not been cleaned.
The stove top was wiped with a dirty cloth.
The refrigerator was disgusting.

Sorry Sir for your experience, we have regular cleaners and they always do the best job . There was some issue with the water softener and we addressed it immediately. It’s a new house and just closed in April 2025. Please excuse us.

Had no cups or glasses to use. No dishwashing liquid or trash bags. Driveway was barely large enough for one boat, no way to get 2 in it with your vehicle. Driveway is also very narrow.

Absolutely loved my stay. My spouse and I loved the house. Perfect for us to relax in, perfect amount of space. I personally like the size of the kitchen and master bedroom. The host is awesome and replied quick with any question or concern I had.
