Great property and a very spacious size especially compared to many other condo/townhome beach rentals. It's a golfer's dream with great views into Hole 9. Good to know's:-It's a bit of a walk to the beach (about 20 minutes) so plan on using the shuttle. It's a free service but you should definitely tip because that's just the right thing to do. If you plan on tipping around 5 per ride and calculate that into your plans, you'll be set. Each driver has a sheet with their own Venmo scan code too so don't worry about bringing cash unless that's your preference. The shuttle takes you anywhere you could need to go: the beach, Palmetto Dunes properties and amenities, the Kroger, the liquor store, Pirate Cove mini golf, and many more. Check the map or ask the driver or dispatch. It's pretty awesome. Also, all of the drivers are super informative and fun to talk to.-Bike drop off and pick up went off without a hitch-Easily walk to the common amenities from here (Outfitters, Alexander's, General Store, tennis, golf)-Everyone at Palmetto Dunes was exceptionally pleasant, helpful, and cheerful. Amazing customer service and a welcoming feel which caught us off guard considering how heavily trafficked it is by tourists-This particular rental did not have condiments, seasonings, olive oil, etc. Does supply toiletries and laundry detergent but not softener. Make sure to shop for or pack what you needOverall it was a great property and location. We would absolutely book again.

Nice place but has a couple of issues

Great location in Palmetto Dunes near all, clean and nicely furnished. However, I like to get some sleep while on vacation and its not easy here. First and foremost the beds are so uncomfortable. Much too firm and I prefer firm. Secondly there are no curtains on the windows, only very transluscent blinds so the walkway lamp outside of both bedroom windows turning on and off every few minutes, all night long kept waking me. I called the management company on friday at 5:30pm and they told me that everyone had left for the weekend and there was nothing they could do. They asked me to hang a blanket over the window. Really? There was a really awful smell inside the dishwasher so we had to restrict the number of times we opened it. Also, the checkout instructions were light on details in my experience renting many homes. Not sure we would come back to this one.
