We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. It’s a beautiful location and the host was quick help if we needed anything during our stay.
We had the best time at the "little brown house" as we called it. We were looking for a relaxing 2 weeks and that's exactly what we got. The view is even better than the photos, we were able to go right out and relax on our paddle boards and our kids (ages 7, 4 and 1) were able to swim right there in the water. Jack is so nice and responsive to every message. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Paying a cleaning fee for filth is diabolical. Pretty hard to imagine dishes being clean coming out of a dishwasher that reeks and has a lot of visible mold in it. The cleaning that had been done was barely surface cleaning let alone deep cleaning for the next renters to come in. The kitchen drawers are filthy and instead of cleaning them they put shelf liner over the filth (a long time ago as the liners are now filthy). There were sticky drink rings on multiple hard surfaces through the house when we arrived so I went to town disinfecting. The boat house and boat pictured in the add belong to the neighboring house, not accessible to us, and not belonging the one being rented. The dock that goes to the house is dangerous, destroyed and not usable. I was asked the purpose of our visit and did say that we were visiting family and our family would be visiting us at the house with their small children. They approved the rental took our and failed to tell us that the property itself is extremely dangerous for children because there’s a mangled destroyed dock. She could have said that and I would have looked for a different rental. I am adding some pictures but the smell in the dishwasher is not captured in the said picture

We are very attentive hosts and reached out multiple times during your stay to ensure you had everything you needed and that you were enjoying your time. At no point were any of these concerns communicated to us. Had we been made aware, we would have addressed them immediately.
Regarding the dock, ongoing construction was clearly disclosed prior to booking so that guests could make an informed decision. We strive to be transparent about the property and its condition at all times.
We always encourage guests to communicate concerns during their stay so we have the opportunity to resolve them in real time. Our previous positive reviews reflect the care we put into maintaining and improving the property. I look forward to posting new photos of the renovations for you to see.
