Very cozy home to rest up in after a day of hiking and exploring all the are has to offer. Comfortable beds.Used the kitchen to cook breakfast, and grilled dinner out on deckThen for relaxation we used hot tub. All around great location and home.
Check in was a breeze, we found the house & got in the door easily. The neighborhood feels safe and neighbors are friendly and quiet. The house was very clean, had everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, relaxing. It is convenient to all the coffee shops, restaurants & the ferry. The home is adorable and we felt right at home during our stay.
This is a lovely little house. We enjoyed the location, the setting, and the quiet neighborhood. A beautiful doe came to visit us early in the morning. I am definitely saving this listing for myself and to share with others.
wow, great time. Yes, it was a Rustic Charmer, but had a firepit and hot tub. We did smores. A lot to do, especially with the playground for our 4 year old grandson. the bet ever, be sure to take a bike for the kids. At the end of our stay, he threw himself on the ottoman and said "I love this place'"
Great location, easy to run to Safeway or Walmart in Port Angeles to stock up, and easy to hop on 101 to ONP destinations and Hurricane Ridge. Quiet street too.
This house was perfect for our trip to Olympic National Park. The neighborhood was quiet, it was in walking distance to a nice coffee shop. We relaxed in the hot tub after hiking and sat on the back porch watching a deer in the yard. I would definitely recommend it!
Charming clean home with all the comforts of being at home. Our hosts were awesome. They contacted me to ensure we had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone visiting Port Angeles.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed your stay!! Come again anytime
This home was clean, quiet and well equipped. We relaxed in the hot tub as deer grazed through the garden. Fans kept us cool and comfortable in the hottest week of the year. The location was great, the view was nice, the neighbors are friendly. We will definitely be back again!

Thank you Joe! We appreciate you. We will look forward to having you again.
This was a cozy place to stay while we spent the week exploring the Olympics. A nicely updated older home that had well stocked kitchen, bathroom, and closets. The hot tub on the deck was the perfect place to enjoy the backyard, where you might meet some visiting blacktail deer. The quaint and quiet neighborhood is walking distance to downtown PA. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay at the Rustic Charmer.
All I can say is wow to this listing! The location was five minutes away from anything in Port Angeles and within 2 hours driving distance to major sights. It was cute and clean but what shocked me most was their small attention to detail. We had everything from ziplock bags, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc stocked for us. They even had fans for the bedroom! Amazing place. We can’t wait to go back.
Management was easy to get response for few small questions. Comfortable house, quiet and good location. Beds are ok,but could be more comfortable. Steps upstairs are super tiny. Watch youre step. House is well stocked. Washer and dryer are super helpful. Its a nice little house for a short stay for a family of five. Good water pressure!! Close to the forest. Hoh forest is 2.5 hr deive away
Rustic charmer is a perfect name for this cute little cottage on a quiet street less then a mile from town. Very clean and comfortable. First morning when we thought we had to drink coffee without creamer we found an entire cabinet filled with different creamers. Such a simple pleasure!! We asked where we could find wood for the fire pit and it was delivered to us within the hour!! Chris is very attentive to every question or need without delay. Enjoyed walking to town for restaurants, shops and to catch the Ferry to Victoria BC. Hot tub and/or fire pit was a great end to the day. Great space for myself and my two adult children.

Not ready for prime time
I don't like leaving negative reviews but feel, this time, it is necessary. This property should not be rented. The location is great and the bones are there for a charming property, but too many things are neglected or poorly managed.
If you shower in the only bath, you will be in ankle-deep water before you finish due to the slow plumbing. The bathroom sink drain functions equally poorly.
Spiders are present, as others have mentioned.
Signs everywhere barking commands - turn off the heat; don't open this; don't pee in the hot tub (honestly).
They do not provide photos of the areas where the remodel was left incomplete, like the completely unfinished opening for the fridge. Maybe a pathway to Narnia?
And, no dishwasher but more signage stating that you, the guest, must wash your dishes before you leave. Some renters apparently lack such skills because you will pull many dirty dishes from the cabinet should you choose to eat in.
And last but not least, the Keurig coffee maker was left full of vinegar. So they do, at least, attempt to clean that particular appliance but fail to finish the job.
A property inadequately remodeled and then not well managed.

I am very sad that your stay was as you say. This is our first bad review and we feel very bad. We care about peoples experiences and we are always happy to make things right. Our place is not neglected, we just finished new paint on the outside, and we do actively manage it. We are sorry you took our signage the way you did, our signage is there to be helpful, not commanding. Often these are things that people ask us. It is true that we had a slow draining tub during your stay and we fixed it as soon as we were told by you before the next guest, but It isn't a normal thing. It is also true the the cleaner forgot to finish draining the vinegar to the coffee maker. This was a first time for her. It is hard to know peoples expectations of the house. It is purposely designed to be rustic charm, but this review is really the first bad review we have gotten. Most of our bookings come through Airbnb, so if anyone wants a overview from a broader spectrum, you are welcome to look for this property on Airbnb and compare all the reviews for this year there.
Perfect location for exploring the Olympic National Park
Ideal location for visiting ONP, close to Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake. A bit of a drive to Rainforest and Beaches but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall great home base. Clean, beds comfortable, lots of linens for bathroom and beds, hot tub was a bonus for relaxing after exploring all day. Highly recommend for your stay on the Olympic Peninsula.
