I can't comment on the stay itself but I can comment on the owners. Absolutely the most horrible people I have ever dealt with. My husband and I were planning an 18th birthday weekend for my daughter. We were going to thr Alabama game and then the lake. However my husband ended up in the hospital in Tuscaloosa and the owner repeated accused us of lieing while we were dealing with true medical issues. She kept all.of or money and didn't even offer. Apologies. I pray nothing like this ever happens to her or her family.

No that’s not exactly what happened. You messaged me that morning saying you didn’t think you had booked… when I confirmed you had you then said you needed to cancel. Which I thought was odd… so I asked you to be honest and only then did you tell me your husband was in the hospital. I quickly apologized and said that I was so sorry. You never even cancelled which would have given me to opportunity to ask for a refund for you. You booked with VRBO not me personally and that was out of my control. I would have personally given you 100% refund in that situation but you never allowed me that opportunity. Again, I’m so sorry that your husband was in the hospital.

Gigi is a spectacular host! We spent a week here & her beautiful home had everything we needed and more. Truly can’t say enough good things about this home & host. Anytime we had a question, Gigi & her husband were very responsive & helpful. We are so thankful for the time we got to spend here & we hope to be back.In case it may help anyone staying here, Hidden Cove & Rock Creek Marina are the closest public boat launches. Duskin Point Marina is the most convenient location to the home for gas on the lake & the pumps are open 24/7. We were able to boat up to Trident Marina for a great dinner one evening. It was about a 40 minute dock to dock boat ride at about 20 knots.
