Perfectly located for exploring wineries in Palisade, hitting local trails, catching a game at Suplizio Field, or embarking on day trips to Grand Mesa, Moab, Ouray, or the Colorado National Monument, our open floor plan cottage offers historic charm with modern comforts. Enjoy allergy-friendly accommodations in a pet-free, smoke-free, and scent-free environment, complete with a private courtyard for relaxation. Your home away from home awaits. Enjoy the enclosed front porch, private back patio, off-street parking and carriage house for bikes or sporting equipment. All new contemporary yet comfortable decor and furnishings that complement the charm of the original features like the hardwood floors and built-in-place cabinets! Washer and dryer, outdoor grill and cooking station with comfortable private back patio that is shaded in the afternoons and has solar lighting for enjoying our comfortable Colorado evenings. Bedrooms feature ceiling fans, dresser, full size closet and Queen beds. The comfortable living area has a Queen size sleeper sofa, 55" smart television with Roku. There is a convenient desk area with internet access for those who need to work while they play. The bathroom has everything you might need including a hairdryer and make up mirror. In the renovation of the home, we opened the kitchen to the living area and provided a cool table space convenient for eating, working and visiting. We have a highchair, Pack & Play and baby seat / swing for those with small children. The kitchen is equipped with a stainless farm sink, stove/oven, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, k-cup coffee maker, toaster, mixer, all cookware and dinnerware. You should only need to get a few groceries and personal items!
Check-in details will be provided via email and text message. Seven days prior to your check-in date, you will receive an email with the necessary information. Additionally, two hours before your check-in, a text message will be sent, containing the property address and the smart lock door code.

The house is so cute, in a perfect location, and had everything we needed. There was a little confusion on how to get into the house (key pad is at the back door) but once we figured that out it was smooth sailing. The backyard space is nice as well. We appreciated all the seating area in the kitchen and living room for our little get together with my son’s friends. We would totally recommend this place.

Poor communication!!

I arrived and could not get in. I called the listed emergency phone number . Tried several times . Just got hang ups. I left and got a hotel . Received a message from the owner at 11:00 pm . Called the next am. She said” my father in law was trying to call you to tell you to go to the back door “I hung up because I was driving to Grand Junction and was in a hail storm just outside Denver . The owner should have communicated this info in writing days before !Also I received a text the night before I was leaving that the owners were having a pest control exterminator company come while I was still there. They can’t wait until guests are gone??

Detailed check-in instructions were emailed seven days prior to arrival and sent again via text at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on the day of check-in. We also call every guest on arrival day to reiterate check-in information and answer questions. When we called, you mentioned you were driving and unable to talk. When we received your message later that night about trouble entering the home, we returned your call within 15 minutes. You later mentioned you saw the call but chose not to answer due to frustration. We're sorry you had difficulty accessing the home. Please note the home does not have parking at the front and the keypad is located at the back door—details included in the check-in instructions. No access attempts were recorded, which suggests you may have tried to enter the wrong property. Still, we refunded the first night as a gesture of goodwill. As for pest control, we notify guests in advance and offer the option to reschedule. You asked to move the appointment until after your departure, which we were happy to do. We regret the inconvenience and hope the rest of your trip to Grand Junction went well.
