Close to tennis, basketball and many golf courses. Ample opportunities for scuba, snorkeling and deep sea fishing or simply choose to relax in our back yard oasis.

Definitely not worth it

Upon arrival the home owner demanded we drive him and his family to the airport, he said “It’s part of the deal.” On the second day of our arrival a 45 foot catamaran moored at the rear of the house blocking 75% of the view. When we brought this to the homeowner’s attention he said that in one of his pictures he showed a boat which justifies him leasing out the dock to other people while we were using the house. We had the yacht owners on their yacht, going back and forth through the property which made us feel very uncomfortable to use the pool area. They even parking their van on the driveway next to our vehicle. The house was dirty. The oven was full of muck, the fridge and freezer had leftover food with hardly any space for us to use. The closets were full of people’s clothes and belongings. The toilet seat cover in the master bedroom had mildew with a stitch of BO. The dock around the pool is rotting and we had be careful where to walk as some of the planks are so bad, that they collapse when walking on them. Out of all our travels this had to be the worst.

The best house in Deerfield Beach

The house is fantastic. Cozy and welcoming. The pictures understate by various orders of magnitude what you get. Ideally located 10' drive from Deerfield Beach. Great places to ride a bike to in lighthouse point and the cove. Publix a 5 minute drive. Walgreens. Sprouts. The swimming pool is fantastic. The deck looks over the waterfront 600 feet from the intracoastal. The pool and back of the house is always fresh with the breeze. The waterway is wide and the house is at a juncture of waterways which makes it even more spacious. A lot of bikes for everyone to use. Beds are really comfortable. All the house is very well equipped (fridge coffee maker washer dryer compressor 2 A/Cs ). There is a Kayak and igloo. The Weber Spirit II is new and works perfect. And Jack (owner) is a gentleman always eager to help and accommodate to one's needs. The area is the nicest in Deerfield 15' drive to Boca Raton. Close to Ft Lauderdale and North Miami. I wish I had booked for a longer period!

Our Deerfield home is our happy place for the entire family that we unfortunately do not get to use nearly as much as we would like, because of this we are willing to share our piece of heaven with folks who will respect and enjoy our home away from home.

Why they chose this property

I previously owned homes in Fort Lauderdale but decided it was time for a change in 1981 and in one weekend viewed 300 waterfront homes knowing exactly what I was looking for settled in on this home featuring deep water dock for our sail boat, wide curving canal providing expansive unobstructed view down the canal to the main intracoastal waterway with a home that offered a comfortable spacious split bedroom plan that is incredibly family friendly.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful backyard pool and patio with 80 foot dock and spectacular intracoastal views. Quiet, safe residential area located with-in minutes of all the entertainment and nite life you could ever want. Cruising the intracoastal, sailing the ocean is always a highlight. The dock is rental occasionally, and boat owners have access to the dock during the day (no overnights).
