Quiet hours & noise enforcement: This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times, including outdoor areas. Noise regulations are strictly enforced by the City of South Lake Tahoe. If neighbors report excessive noise and law enforcement is called, the city may issue citations ranging from approximately $1,500 to $5,000, which may be issued to both the guest and the owner. Any fines or penalties resulting from guest behavior are the responsibility of the guest.
No parties or events: Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted.
Maximum occupancy: Maximum occupancy is 6 adults, or up to 8 guests total when children are age 6 or younger.
Parking (city enforced): Street parking is strictly prohibited. Vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed or towed, and significant fines may be issued by the city. Please park only in designated on-site parking areas.
Guest-only areas: Guests may only use designated guest areas. One bedroom on the property is reserved for the host, remains locked, and is not part of the guest space.
Pets: Dogs only, subject to prior approval. Please include the number, size, and breed of dog(s) when inquiring. No other pets are permitted.
Garbage & bear safety: For everyone’s safety, all trash and food waste must be placed in the outdoor bear-proof container at all times. Do not leave garbage, food, or scented items outside or in vehicles overnight.
Kitchen & dishes: Please place all used dishes in the dishwasher and start a cycle before departure.
Thermostat (winter months): During winter stays, please set the thermostat to 55°F upon departure to help protect the home and plumbing.
No smoking or vaping: Smoking or vaping of any kind is not allowed inside the home.
Hot tub use: The hot tub is available for guest use between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM only. Please use the hot tub responsibly, follow posted instructions, and no glass in or around the hot tub. Children must be supervised at all times.
Respect the home & neighbors: Please treat the home, furnishings, and neighbors with care and respect.
No subleasing: Subleasing or allowing unregistered overnight guests is not permitted.
Damage or issues: Please report any damage or maintenance issues promptly so they can be addressed quickly.
