Beautiful place! Hunter was a huge help and did some well needed mid trip laundry for us. The place is very comfortable and beds were perfect after a long day of exploring. Thank you again!!!
Easy access and communication was prompt.Sofa bed was used and high grade so surprisingly comfortable for a sofa bed. Kitchen was fully stocked. Very roomy and a/c worked well.Had a great time exploring the Tamiami from this location.
We had a very nice stay at this rental. Not much for extras but that was as expected. There was a starter pile of wood for the fire pit that was much appreciated. We enjoyed the ambiance of this slough out back.
The property was perfect if you’re looking for good amenities while still feeling removed from an urban or suburban environment. Loved being isolated, great view of the stars, cool ambiance on back deck, and interior was very comfortable. Perfect for access to both parks in the area!
We loved our stay here. Very nice place with a great host. He stopped to help guide us to where we would see the most animals and reptiles as this was the purpose of our trip. We would book again!
We enjoyed our stay here. This rental represents glamping - outdoor camping with amenities and comforts (such as beds, electricity, and access to indoor plumbing) not usually used when camping. It’s a relatively peaceful location. We spotted birds while sitting at the outdoor fire pit next to the mangrove. Here’s a short summary of the rental: -super easy access and check out. -Comfy beds and sleeper sofa. -the owner is very responsive and thoughtful. He had a space heater delivered to us knowing there were a couple cold days/ nights ahead. -clean & tidy. -WiFi & TV worked great. -we have Verizon phone service and could not make calls from the rental. -in addition to the microwave, the small kitchen has a Cuisinart double induction cooktop and a convection oven. We cooked meals with no problem. -there are ceiling fans in both rooms, both ran quietly.

Stayed here with my daughter to see watch the lunar eclipse. We wanted somewhere dark and this was perfect.
The cottage looks just like the pictures. Super clean, very comfortable, nice big shower (loved the rain shower head). Kitchen has the necessities for cooking. Very nice.
We had a question and the owner got back to us right away. Great cottage, would definitely stay here again.
There was absolutely no internet. We could not communicate with property managers. Plus there was no hot water. The deck was very cool.

Thank you for your review. The hot water heater went out that weekend and we had no idea because no one brought it to our attention through any form of contact.
It has been replaced and hot water is working now.
Also, the guest before you turned off the breaker to the Internet for some reason and that was found by the next guest and we fixed it for them.
We are happy to address any issues promptly with proper communication.
Also, we learned that we need to train the cleaning staff to check the breakers.
We are always striving to improve and take feedback serious to improve our stay for all of our guests.
Host was easy to work and communicate with. Very clean! Kitchen was fully stocked. Not over fancy but clean and comfortable. Wwe even booked a boat tour and loved that too.
Our stay at this lovely Everglades City unit was quite pleasant. I was working a festival in Everglades City and had elected to take a more remote unit so as not to be disturbed by noise from that event after my work was done. This house proved to be exceptional in this capacity. While the kitchen is modest, it is well equipped. There’s a countertop induction cooktop that works great, and there’s everything you need to make coffee (bring your own coffee, of course). The bed is VERY comfortable and the shower rivals those that I’ve used in four-star hotels! The backyard faces a lovely creek that is quite serene, especially at night. There’s a fire pit out there (although I didn’t use it this time around — but will next time). I found that the back patio was ideal for unwinding after a long day AND was surprisingly exceptional for star-gazing as there are no city lights nearby!Overall, this is a good spot that is centrally located, yet remote enough to afford a guest privacy and quiet. Ideal for tourists and locals alike! And, finally, Hunter (owner) was VERY accommodating and always responded quickly when I had an inquiry before and throughout our stay. Highly recommended! We will stay again!
