The Space: Welcome to Amachen Cabin where space will never be an issue at this amazing Tahoe home! This home sleeps 8 of your closest family and friends and can park up to 4 cars max. The owners bought this land and built this home several years ago. The kids can all be downstairs while the adults gather upstairs and enjoy wine or a movie. Come be apart of this family abode!

SENSITIVE PIPES This home has a sump pump system which is very sensitive to anything other than toilet paper so please let everyone in your party know not to flush anything other than toilet paper. Do not flush the following: All wipes even “flushable” wipes, tissue, tampons, pads, paper towels, trash, floss, Q-tips, etc. All of this goes in the garbage!
PET FEE There is a $35/day pet fee per dog. 2 dogs max. Please contact as after you book to pay this fee. Thank you!
PET RULES 1. 2 Dogs max - unless otherwise approved. 2. Must pick up all poop or there may be a clean up charge. 3. Do not leave pet unattended unless in a crate (this is when damage happens). 4. Keep dogs leashed while on walks in the neighborhood. 5. Keep pets off furniture and bedding or there may be a pet hair removal charge. 6. Please do your best to wipe your pets paws when they come inside to avoid carpet stains. **You are responsible for any and all pet related damage including carpet cleans and door scratch repair.
TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCE The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come! 1. The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm (if this home has one) 2. 10pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals. 3. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box. 4. We cannot host extra people or allow parties. 5. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt. PLEASE NOTE: Neighbors may alert the police who will issue fines to guests found to be in violation. In order to protect this owner’s permit we do reserve the right to ask guests to leave this home. This is a very rare occurrence and one we hate doing so we do our best to warn our guests before it comes to this. 6. The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.
Interaction with Guests: You will check in by going right to the home using our keyless entry system. Your door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by the check mark button that will activate at 4pm. Make sure to pull the door toward you when you put the code in to ensure the deadbolt is aligned. We have a 24 hour customer care team and a local team available during business hours.

I would definitely rent this property again... the online description under described the bed count, would have liked that to be more clear before arriving.Location was awesome, the amenities were great. (Note that master BR shower not senior friendly- large step to enter.)The garbage pick up was a little confusing as it would seem there is separate recycle pick up day but doesn't alway coincide with your stay.Quiet neighborhood, no issue with the neighbors. Never needed to contact host during stay. Check out instructions vague, but expect cleaning crew to come in post stay.Online max said 8 people, but could easily handle more.I would work with host next time on allowing a few extra people during our stay. Thank you for hosting us, we had a great time.
This is a great property for families to stay together while in Lake Tahoe. The property is clean and well maintained. The property manager is very responsive and accommodating.

Overall, very good and would recommend. Very spacious and kitchen amenities were excellent. Living room couch was very dirty and needs a makeover. Also the shower pressure is poor.
This place is amazing! Has an upstairs where the living room, kitchen, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms are, and has a downstairs with a separate living room, 5 additional bedrooms, and 2 full sized bathrooms too. Super clean, easy to check in, and.
This place was surrounded by beautiful snow and my kids got to play on their sleds in the back yard. Spacious home. The adults relaxed upstairs, while the teenagers hung out downstairs. We look forward to coming back
The house was very clean, and big. We had a blast at our stay. There were 8 adults and 2 kids + our pet dog. The house is big enough for 12 people. We had 2 extra bedrooms.
Awesome location. Great place for groups. Fireplace didn’t work while we were there but everything else worked fine. There management company is really great and accommodating.
This house was great for fitting everyone in our family and friends group. The only problem was there was no AC and the fridge raider wasn’t working. Being that there was no AC we had to open up all windows to try to get a breeze and we were contacted by the managers to keep the noise under control. We reported the fridge raider not working but got nothing in response. I highly recommend that this listing makes it known that there is no AC.
