Beautiful second floor condo in a waterfront gated community situated on the back bay peninsula of Cape Coral. Gorgeous views of the gulf access canal and ecological preserve with an abundance of wildlife- Manatee, turtles, alligators and dolphins can all be seen from your private lanai at the condo.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite features a queen bed, TV and a beautiful master bath with walk in shower with private entrance to the lanai. The 2 guest bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the home from the master. There is a full size washer and dryer located in the laundry room next to the kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities.

Spend the day relaxing poolside, sun bathing, reading your favorite book or take a swim in the pool or a dip in the jacuzzi- all surrounded by lush tropical landscape. Take a walk down to the large surrounding pathways to catch sun rays or simply hang out, play tennis, shuffleboard or grill out on one of the pool grills provided.

At days end, one of the best places to be in Cape Coral is right here on your private lanai, enjoying the sunsets while enjoying your dinner and/or your company!

This condo retains the value of peaceful living while being conveniently close to shops, tons of restaurants with new ones popping up all the time, parks, highways and transport. It is very close to good shopping areas and many tourist attractions in the North Ft. Myers area such as the Shell Factory, the Butterfly Estate and Edison-Ford Winter Estate. We are located just minutes to shopping to include, Wal-Mart, Publix, Home Goods. We are 15 miles to Fort Myers Beach, 7 miles to Cape Coral Yacht & Racquet Club, 21 miles from Sanibel and 31 miles to Captiva.

Arrived Jan 1 with no prior instructions how to get in the front gate. Called owner who told us to just wait as people come in an out all the time. He finally called a family member who lives there and they came and let us in. Jan 1 (think college football championship bowl games) and the TV had no ESPN or network channels available. Owner fixed this a few days later, but, of course, by then the games were over. Periodically throughout our stay the TV would not work. We had to unplug the router, wait a few minutes, plug it back in, wait a few more minutes, and hope the TV worked. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Kitchen was not very clean. Silverware and pots and pans had to be scrubbed before we could use them. Some of the sharp knives and the can opener had rust on them. We just went out and purchased our own. Furniture throughout the unit was very uncomfortable. Pictures of the Lani on VRBO showed what looked like comfortable lounge chairs, but these were not present. They were replaced by some folding straight chairs and a metal folding table. Through no fault of the owner, the building is situated such that the Lani gets no sun whatsoever at any time of the day. Bed in the second bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. We had guests a couple of nights and they couldn't sleep in the bed it was so bad. One of them had to move to the third bedroom. Sheets on the bed in the second bedroom did not fit the bed properly.

Great Experience .....

We thoroughly enjoyed our Cape Coral winter accommodations in this very clean and well furnished/maintained condo. It's conveniently located to the major grocery stores (Publix and Walmart), restaurants, beaches, golf courses, nightlife and the downtown Fort Myers historic district. We loved having our morning coffee and evening happy hours out on the lanai overlooking the canal that surrounds the property. Plenty of wildlife to observe including, fish, birds, turtles, iguanas and even an occasional manatee or dolphin. We also enjoyed spending time down at the community pool. We found the people there to be extremely friendly and fun to hang out with. We found the owners to be great landlords and were very responsive to any issues that arose. Thank you Shelly and JP for sharing your condo with us. We look forward to our return visit again next winter. Barb and Don

Well maintained property

Island Cove is a nice condo community that is gated and well maintained. Its location is very convenient. This unit is well decorated and better equipped than most rental units. It offers a pleasing view across a canal to an open lot and a wooded area populated by birds. The owners are helpful and friendly. I recommend this unit without reservation.

Great condo- clean and has everything you need for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay - the condo is very comfortable, recently painted and staying here makes you feel at home. The property has tennis courts and shuffle board which we enjoyed. Also a club house with a pool and hot tub right on the canal. Everything was beautiful and we will be back!

We have 2 children at home still and until we can be in Florida full-time, we love to have renters use our property and enjoy it as much as we do! We love Island Cove as it is tranquil and relaxing with all the amenities you could want and is close to shopping, entertainment and the beach.

We love outdoor activities in the winter and the summer. Please enjoy our condo!
