Unique Historical Waterfront House

This house was by far the most unique place I have ever stayed. The house was huge and sprawling with the most interesting decor with local historical significance. The wraparound porch was a favorite spot for our family as it looked out over the bay so we could relax while watching the boats and birds. The owner was a joy to work with and was very attentive to our needs.

We had an incredible time staying at this wonderful house! Nate is an incredible host: met us when we arrived and greeted us with things like homemade iced tea, fresh cut flowers decorating the rooms, a GC to a local bakery, etc. You can tell how much care and effort he has put into this property to maintain it and make it a relaxing refuge as a vacation property. The home more than comfortably fit 9 adults (family get together), and the porch is simply amazing.If you enjoy sitting on a porch and watching the boats, the sunshine's (or cloud's) reflection on the water while seeing all sorts of birds, this is for you. For those who like to walk (we do), this is walkable to many places in town, and right near pickleball and tennis courts and a basketball court. And the house has a "sports" closet and is stocked with games galore. The house itself is full of fascinating items to explore, and was perfect for our families.It's clearly disclosed on the listing, but be aware that there is no AC or dishwasher or laundry (although a laundromat is very close). That being said, none of that detracted from our stay. There were fans (often multiple) in each room, and the breezes off the water made it pleasant to sleep at night.I wish I were still there!
