Beautiful, recently remodeled 2500 sqft. 6 BR, 2.5 BA home in historic Tower Grove South. 9' ceilings and beautifully restored hardwood floors. Fenced back yard with covered carport. Perfect for large groups!

Kid friendly with plenty of amenities: Strollers, high chairs, toddler bed, pack n play, kid's toys & books available!

Close to Everything: Zoo, Forest park, Science center, Downtown, Tower Grove Park, and South Grand. Quiet, friendly neighborhood!

Sleeping arrangements (Sleeps 15 privately, 4 semi-privately (pass through):
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): 1 queen bed
Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed
Bedroom 3: 2 twin over full bunk beds
Bedroom 4: 1 double bed, 1 single bed (trundle)

Our house offers ample space for large groups, yet cozy common areas allow your group to spend time together. A large front porch complements the fresh indoor living areas and fenced back yard.

Guest access:
Guests will be able to use the house, porch, and back yard. Basement and balcony are off limits. Guests are welcome to use our grill on the back deck but please check propane tank prior to using!

We are always available to help you with recommendations and are only a phone call away in the case any issues come up.

The neighborhood:
Tower Grove South is a diverse and eclectic neighborhood. It is flanked by two popular commercial districts located along Morgan Ford to the west and South Grand to the east. From funky neighborhood bars to haute ethnic cuisine (Ethiopian, Persian, Vietnamese, American and Bosnian to name a few), TGS has a little something for everyone. The shining star of our neighborhood is the 289 acre Tower Grove Park 0.5mi to the north, which hosts a Saturday Farmer's Market in the warm season and countless festivals and events throughout the year.

Getting around:
There is ample street parking, as well as our covered 2-car carport in the backyard accessible by the alley. Please observe street sweeping signs. Having a car or relying on ride sharing services/cabs is recommended as public transportation is several blocks away.

Other things to note:
NO SMOKING anywhere on the premises.
Please remember that this is our home. Please treat our home as your own during your stay.

House Rules:
- Check-in is after 3PM
- Checkout is before 10AM. Guests and/or belongings present after checkout will be charged for an additional day.
- No loud music or noise louder than soft talking outdoors after 9PM
- Clean and put away dishes
- Take out garbage (dumpsters in alley behind house - brown for trash, blue for recycling only please)
- Strip linens off used beds, leave on floor
- Please treat our home as if it were your own and be respectful of our neighbors

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors

Collect all personal belongings and trash and take trash to dumpsters out back. Please ensure doors are locked! Travel home safely
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We have a private 2 car parking pad in the back accessible by the alley. Please observe street sweeping signs!
As this is a residential neighborhood, no outside noise louder than soft talking after 10 pm.
Please do not flush ANYTHING other than toilet paper — this includes ‘flushable’ wipes, as well as food, diapers, wipes, sanitary products.

We have been coming to St Louis annually because our grandkids live 90 minutes away and it's a great city with lots to do. The house was spacious for our group of 8, it is centrally located and the host was easy to communicate with. Emily checked on is as soon as we checked on. On our 3rd night there was a tornado warning and she immediately checked on is to ensure we were aware. Looking forward to booking again.

Cute historical home

It was in a quiet neighborhood, felt safe, nicely remodeled and had lots of beds . Because it was a historical home, the floors were very creaky and loud but since we didn’t have small children, it wasn’t a problem for us. The beds were too soft and we sunk in to the middle but other than that we had a great time.

This location is Awesome!!!

If you are looking for a place that will house 11 people comfortably. This is the place to select. We had so much to do in St Louis and the location was so close to all the places we went. We loved this house and the area. I walked/ran every morning and had a great area to workout. The house was clean and beautiful inside with a homey feeling. Take my advice, select this house for a great vacation.

Lovely house with everything you need

This home is adorable. Our family stayed here for Thanksgiving and would do it again! It’s in a great location (near a huge park/playground, several highways and not far from a grocery store). The home is decorated very nicely and is quite comfortable.

We (Emily and Anthony) are transplants to the great city of St. Louis. Having arrived in 2016 to start Anthony's ophthalmology residency at WashU, we have hit the ground running. We enjoy adventuring in our city and beyond. We have four sweet young children, who keep us busy at home and on the go.

Why they chose this property

We bought The Miami House because it was the perfect mix of location without having to sacrifice any amenities. There's plenty of space to stretch out yet you don't have to travel far to get anywhere. We loved the neighborhood when we first toured and we still love it now (we only live 4 blocks away!).

What makes this property unique

We were enamored by the original hardwood floors, the high ceilings, the gourmet kitchen, and open concept living space. As most of our family lives far away and has always been so kind to host us, we were eager to have enough home to return the favor on their ventures to St. Louis. We gratefully extend this tradition of hosting friends and family all under one roof to you who want to vacation together and in style.
