Featuring stunning ocean vistas, Heaven's Cottage is the perfect place to leave your worries behind...to relax and enjoy nature's wonders. The amazing sandy beach features the warmest salt water north of the Carolinas, the perfect sand for even the grandest castles and sculptures, and it offers the perfect venue for sport and recreation. But the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Experience the sight of hundreds of fireflies (when in season) as they light their way through the forest...or millions of stars that unite to form the Milky Way as you roast marshmallows over a softly crackling bonfire and are soothed by the soft lapping of the ocean against the shore. The ocean is less then 90 feet from the deck.

From the moment you arrive, you will understand why we say that Heaven's Cottage is the perfect place to rest, play, reset your priorities, and recharge your spirit. Truly, you will not want to leave.

Magical beach holiday

A wonderful stay that was too short but so relaxing. Make sure you bring whatever you need for your stay as you won’t want to leave once you arrive. Sitting on the porch to watch the ocean is so wonderful. Beach combing was also a highlight. Thank you Michael for your gracious hospitality. This is the way to live!

Piece of heaven

Cozy, homey cottage with an incredible view. Host met us and explained the cottage but was not intrusive. Enjoyed visiting Tatamagouche. A lovely weekend in a relaxed, beautiful setting.

Slice of Heaven

I can not say enough about this property. We stayed (2 couples) for a yearly getaway , also a 40th birthday. Our dates originally conflicted but Michael was more than accommodating and allowed us to switch things around. Upon arrival , we were nothing but impressed with this property. It is clean, spacious, updated, and literally a short few steps from the ocean. We walked the beach for hours, finding mounds of beach glass(I thought they were exaggerating about the amount of beach glass but it was insane!). We have stayed at a few places around Tatamagouche/Malagash and this is by far our favorite. We will definitely be back!!
