This is a great spot for an Elk ski weekend. Not a lot of space, but if you’re on the mountain all day and the wrapping up at Chet’s, you’re just looking for a place to lay down. Very clean. TONS of kid toys but need to get some board games/ cards for the adults. Our afternoon got rained out so we needed something to do. Had to drive to Carbondale to get a pack of Uno cards. We’ll be back for sure!
This is a lovely cottage overlooking the lake! It was easy to locate via GPS, and was the perfect spot for our extended weekend ski trip. Just a short 15-20 minute drive to Elk Mountain. We enjoyed a local restaurant, and cooked the rest of our meals. It was warm and cozy, If it wasn't so cold and snowing we would have enjoyed the firepit. It snowed every night and a crew came and shoveled the property ( Deck & Driveway) Host was attentive and responded quickly to all my questions. Easy check-in/out and very clean. We will be back again!! Thanks Bridget!!!
The place was clean and the view of the lake was great! Finding the property at night was difficult as the driveway is not on the street address and no lights were on. No hair dryer despite saying there were 2. Weather was very warm and the cottage got very hot during the day- storm door would expand and not open either way. Many windows without screens and some screens had holes. It seemed like this was a summer family cottage as much personal stuff was around with very little room for our belongings in bedroom. No hangers in closet. We did have deer visit the front yard in the am and at noc.
