The Retreat at Candler’s Mountain is exactly as represented on the website. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The area is very near everything you’d need in Lynchburg, but feels secluded and is extremely peaceful. The hosts anticipated all the information we would need regarding the rental, including advising us of an internet outage before we were even aware it was out.I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Liberty University and the Lynchburg area.

Well priced, nice, clean and simple place to stay. We stayed here passing through Lynchburg, Va for one night. Directions to the place and for the place were very clear. Host was quick to respond to questions. Thank you for the water and treats. The breakfast recommendation for the Courthouse Cafe in Rustburg, Va was most excellent. We would stay there again.

Our hosts were very accommodating and the stay was quite pleasant as we needed a spot that was close to Liberty’s campus while we visited our daughter. It helped to have a pet friendly option as well and the space was beautiful and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable! The rain style shower head felt like a luxury. Arriving to a decorated and lit Christmas tree was also a nice touch. Highly recommend!
