*Please Note*
Our home is family-friendly, but it's not "baby-proof."
Parents are responsible for supervising children and keeping our belongings safe, as well as their own children.
This is a waterfront property with direct access to a fresh water lake with no child-safe barriers in place. As with any fresh water in the southeast, there’s a strong possibility for alligators in the water. We do not recommend swimming off our dock for this reason. The stay at our Lakehouse is at your own risk.
An additional cleaning fee will be charged for any significant damage caused by children (such as drawing on walls or furniture) or pets (such as bathroom waste, excess fur, dug holes, etc) or other guests.
We can’t wait to host you at the Lakehouse Hideaway. If you have any questions or special requests, don't hesitate to reach out!

Clean and neat. Boat landings within 5 to 10 minutes. Room for boat and truck in the driveway. Several restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes. Ashley was very helpful and responsive.
The Lake House was exactly what we wanted! A beautiful home to relax and have wonderful views of the Lake! The host was very responsive and friendly! I would definitely recommend!
Wife and I stayed for 30 days in Feb/March 2026 and had a great time! The house suited us well with well stocked kitchen, very nice washer and dryer and welcomed our dog. The double car port was nice for keeping boat and truck under. Handy to pull up to dock as necessary as well. Needless to say the fishing was excellent! Also, the neighborhood folks are extremely friendly.
The house was great. Inside was very clean. The outside deck had so many cobwebs. The dock needs some lighting. My friend sleeps with TV on and there were no TVs in the bedrooms. She also smokes and felt like she had to leave the property. We don’t smoke in our houses but felt like she should have been allowed to smoke in a designated spot outside. Owners were nice and we had everything we needed to cook and so thankful for the coffee!!! overall nice place!
Guys fishing trip! Three of us stayed 3 nights, and enjoyed our trip. The property has a great location on the north side of the lake in Cross. Having a dock and direct access to the lake was a big plus. The house itself was neat and clean. The kitchen seemed to have most all necessities, but we did not cook much, we fished more! The house has great gathering spaces, with a large family room and covered deck with table and chairs. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Ashley was on top of things and is a great host. Overall, it was a great stay and we would do it again.

It was a wonderful time. We were catfishing and it was nice to have a place for our boats. We were able to be on the boat all weekend and it was just beautiful.

Thanks so much, David! We hope to host your group again soon!
The description of the house is accurate. It is in a great location on the lake. The house itself was roomy, clean, and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed for preparing several meals. The coffee provided was a great plus! There were also several board games, books, and a nice selection of toys for little ones. The outside porch area was a great place to hang out while also having a nice view of the lake. Most mornings I spent on the dock (I carried a small camp chair down) and had coffee while enjoying the sounds of the lake and wildlife. I was also able to work remotely for a good portion of our trip without any connection issues. During our stay we saw birds, ducks, turtles, frogs, fish, a small snake, several gators (across the lake), and an evening "goose parade" (a group of geese swam by each evening lol). There were plenty of lights outside the front of the house at night which was great. It was a bit dark between the dock and house but it was not too dark (a flashlight is needed if near dock late evening or at night as there are no lights near the dock). This was not an issue for us. Ashley was great! She was very responsive to messages, she kept in touch during our stay, and she also provided us with some insight on nearby areas for boat launches, restaurants, and things to do. I loved our stay here!
The house is beautiful and not lacking any amenities. Good fishing... we had a fish fry our last evening. Beautiful view from the living room and the deck. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and look forward to returning.
