About this property

Lovely self-contained apartment with garden in Chelsea

Experience Chelsea living in a vibrant residential area teaming with life: pubs, restaurants, art galleries and shopping.

A 1 bed 2 bathroom garden flat, a hop skip and jump from everything you could want as well as easy for museums & theatres and Heathrow or Gatwick.

The apartment is in a 1860s Victorian white stucco front house on the lower ground floor (Chelsea is mostly white stucco or red brick mansion blocks). It has its own private entrance, and a terrace & small garden at the back. Off the bedroom is a bathroom and separately a shower room. There is sitting room/study with a wall of books, TV and Wi-Fi and a galley kitchen with the usual stuff & washing machine/dryer. Sheets and towels; Bed is UK/European size (6’6 X 5'), mattress is medium. There is no dining room table (there are breakfast trays) or the garden table in summer, and cafes and delis around the corner.

Chelsea is a smart area of London (Upper East side/NYC or 16th in Paris) - so residential, safe and bags to do. There is so much on your doorstep. The vibrant Fulham Road shops/bars are just 2 minutes walk way and also the busy Kings Road shops/bars which are a couple of blocks away, around 5 minutes walk, and one of the longer shopping streets in the UK. To get to Piccadilly Circus or the theatre district, it's quick and easy: either take taxi/uber or simply the bus (14/414) which goes past Harrods, Piccadilly, Soho or the tube at Earls Court tube (8 minutes walk away) or West Brompton, 6 minutes away. The Thames is 5 minutes away, there are pretty houseboats along the river but not much else other than joggers. Elizabeth Taylor once lived here.

It is easy for Heathrow airport as Earls Court is on the Piccadilly line that links the two (40 minutes), and Gatwick airport (50 minutes) from West Brompton tube and overground station.
