Sleeping Wolf Studio w/ ski trail & river access, pool/hot tub

Located at Wolfridge Resort, Sleeping Wolf Studio is one of the closest studios to the ski trail and has views up the Methow Valley from the balcony. The log framed ceiling and vaulted windows provide lots of light all year round. The balcony overlooks the Wolfridge property where you can sit and watch the stars with hot cocoa or sip your morning coffee. The room contains a queen bed and a futon couch that folds out to a full-size bed. The bathroom has a sink and shower. The kitchenette has a sink, mini-fridge, microwave and a coffee pot. You have a private entrance at the top of the stairs.

The cabin is on 40 acres of open space and the Methow River is a short walk away. Bike through wildflowers in the spring, jump in the pool on hot summer days after a hike. In the winter, you can strap on your xc skis at the front door and ski North America's largest cross country ski area with over 220 km of perfectly groomed ski trails. Warm yourself in the hot tub in the evenings and curl up on the couch with a cup of cocoa. The open space also has a play structure, horseshoes, and a sand volleyball/badminton court.

Access to the pool and hot tub (seasonal use). Spa towels, complimentary toiletries and hair dryer are provided.

Restful stay

Lovely accommodation. I appreciated the pool and cleanliness of the room. The bed linens were just right for the summer weather annd super clean. Only recommendations are the bathroom linens could use updating ( clean but pretty worn out) and the fridge froze any food I put in it. It didn’t affect my stay at all though. I would definitely stay again. Just some suggestions for the hostess.

Great location for XC skiing!

Loved the location of this place-- a literal (and walkable) stone's throw from the groomed Methow Trail system. Room was as described and cozy.

Cozy winter retreat

Absolutely loved the location - the groomed ski trail went right thru the property and it was delightful to watch skiers go gliding by from our lofty perch in the Studio loft. Gorgeous snowy mountain views out our windows, cozy warmth inside with rustic log furniture providing cabin charm. Simply furnished kitchenette met our needs. Hot tub/pool/ clubhouse closed due to Covid. Nice groomed paths to walk the dog, close to river. Tight fit for four adults. Cons- didn’t receive email with current check-in details and had to track down owner for late arrival entry. Cabin showing age/wear (carpet, wall paint, drapes ) Could benefit from a deep clean. Was disappointed there was no tub - only shower. Would stay at this property again - but in another (larger / updated) cabin.

Quiet space

Nice little studio to stay in. The property has a few other cabins but is quiet and clean. Lots of trail walking to be done and very close to the river. Perfect for taking walks with your dog. There was plenty of wild turkeys and deer to watch. Close to Winthrop and not much farther to Twisp. Lots of roads to explore for those who like driving as well.

Wolf ridge Studio

The studio’s futon and a queen bed were quite comfortable, the kitchen items were adequate, and having access to a hot tub and xc ski trails was very nice. Our only complaint was that the smells and noise from the downstairs party’s dinners could be heard loud and clear. We will most likely not stay here again for this reason.

Room was in good condition and location was good for getting on the trail. Liked the deck and good small kitchen area. Furniture could be a little more practical or comfy and needed sheets for the futon. Overall great spot for the price.

cozy, clean room

The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was perfect for our needs. We were able to do breakfast and lunch in the room and have dinner out. We loved being able to use the hot tub at the resort and also being able to access the ski trails right outside our door. The location was perfect. It is out of town and feels like a little cabin in the woods but is fairly close to town to be able to eat out and shop.
