Warm and woodsy batch of cabins out in the middle of nowhere and close to the North Cascades. The cabin had pretty much everything you would want - log interiors, high ceilings, balcony view, access to a pool and hot tub.Suggested tip - bring your own coffee grounds!
Great location, right by miles of ski trails! Nice little little kitchenette with everything you need for basic meal prep. Not very far to drive for great places to eat and shop. We would stay again!
We loved this little place. The location is wonderful and I took an amazing walk on the property near the river. Hosts were helpful and it was close to hikes, Winthrop, etc.
Great location with easy access to Methow Valley and North Cascades hiking trails off of Rt. 20. Didn't use other facilities (pool/hot tub, etc.) as all possible time spent on trails. Host responded promptly/thoroughly when there was a brief power outage (not the property's fault). There was a coffee machine but no ground coffee supplied (and too long a drive to go to store for it) - there were instant coffee packets... Good coffee is right next to oxygen early in the morning ;-)
Perfect for a couple who wants to be on the trail.
My husband and I repeated our stay from last year, since we had such a great experience in 2022. This stay was even better, with a better layout in the kitchenette, and nicer bathroom.
The kitchenette is tiny, but it works, and the overall feeling of the unit is very private, quiet and serene.

Nice, open and quite.
Wish we had a kitchen but that’s our fault, should have booked sooner.
Small or cozy, describes it best... nice place to crash after a hard day of sking.... needs to get the hot tub functional though... hot, but NO JETS.... kind of a bummer after a hard day of sking.
I was looking for a place that I could stay for an extended period of time without going broke. This cabin studio was in the perfect location for me to access favorite trails and discover new ones. It also fit my budget well enough that I could stay for a full 10 days. It offered enough room for me to feel like I wasn't cramped and going stir crazy in a tiny little motel room. It was clean and cozy, and the kitchenette had enough amenities that I could do a little bit of simple food prep and not have to eat out every day. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a bit cramped… But absolutely sufficient for what I needed it for. Loved this place will definitely come back!
Exactly what I wanted and hard to tear myself away today! So peaceful and serene. The private balcony with the view and trees was so perfect. Easy to communicate with. Loved the hot tub after hiking 12 miles yesterday. Slept incredible. Will only stay here when I visit the cascades!
It’s off the beaten path but that was what I loved the most. It’s quick to get into town and head up into the cascades. The suite did have everything needed, coffee, filter, blow dryer, etc. that you’d expect. The room itself is so cozy and inviting.
Thank you for a great stay!
This great little studio offers amazing access to the famous cross-country ski trails of the Methow Valley. You are mere footsteps from the Mazama Community Trail. This connects to miles of more trails to take you as far as your legs and lungs can take you. The kitchen is well equipped to handle light duty. Bed, couch and table are comfortable. The whole place is clean, neat and tidy. Lots of room on the floor to stretch/foam-roll out after your morning of gold-medal skiing. Thanks for sharing your hidden Winthrop gem!
My dog and I were actually the only ones staying in the cabins during this time, so it was like our own private resort! The studio we stayed in was cute, clean, and comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked with everything I needed to help me make or reheat meals, make coffee and tea, etc.
The only bummer was that the snow didn't last in the valley, so the ski trail that does (literally) run just outside the cabin was not skiable (none of the lower valley trails were). But, that didn't much matter because I wanted to ski the dog friendly trails up higher with my pup anyway. It just would have been cool to ski that whole area in its prime winter time. I guess I'll have to go back!
It was a nice little place and worked well for a few days. There were a few things that were a little frustrating - the pools hours were shorter than what was on the website and we had to call someone to let us in. The pools needs a bit of work - pitted out and rough pool floor. BUT it was very refreshing and fun. The shower was really weird - the shower head isn't the correct size for the shower or something? I am a little short (5' 4") and I wasn't really able to adjust the head so that it wasn't shooting straight in my face. I had to back into a corner in order to get out of the stream - my husband tried to adjust it for me and had the same issue.
We would go again - price is right and it was clean - but not for an extended stay (more than 4 nights).
As advertised - it is spacious for a studio and a lovely view and lots of light from the main window/balcony. The neighborhood is wonderful with access to the ski trails and the hot tub. We loved our stay!
Had a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the property and the studio apt. Nice to have trails nearby, there could be more snowshoe trails on the property. Hot tub was a nice bonus. There was no remote for the TV so it was difficult to change the channels and control the volume. No big deal. Will definitely consider this property for future vacations.
