Hello! We're Barry and Cynthia. We've had the pleasure of vacationing in Cape Charles for over 12 years, and we're thoroughly in love with this charming small town. Our journey began with a question: where should we go for vacation? I've always had a fondness for small historic towns and exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, while Barry enjoys spending time at the beach. Fate intervened, leading us to discover Cape Charles. This quaint town, nestled on the Chesapeake Bay, captured our hearts with its warm hospitality and intimate atmosphere. Measuring just six by seven blocks, the town is highly walkable, and we can even rent golf carts for a leisurely ride around the neighborhood. When it comes to family activities, the beach is an ideal spot, offering a peaceful atmosphere without the crowds commonly found at other vacation hotspots, allowing us to unwind while keeping our children close. After our first visit, we knew we'd found our happy place and contacted a realtor. We purchased a couple of lots and built Pinkberry Cottage. Twelve years later, Cape Charles remains our happy place.
