Such a hidden gem in this place. A fair distance from the road so it was nice and quiet, and the lake was about 100 yards away - we loved watching the evening fall over the water from the wooden swing. Will definitely be staying here again!

A few spiders in the cabin and a short shower head in the shower. Outside that, very good value. Nice beach area near by.

We did not know that check in was by 8pm. We were traveling across the country and had limited to no internet access. Yes, a message was sent to us telling us the check in process but we did not see it until we were on the way and it was too late. We were unable to take the chance of driving to the location and not having somewhere to sleep at 11:30pm. Just know you have to check in by 8pm or make arrangements for something different before that time. We also had to search the internet for the number to call to leave a message, which was not returned. Very disappointed. This place looks neat and we really wanted to stay here.

Cute little bungalow!

It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.
