Bayou Stay

The house was perfect for my family from out of town to stay and mingle with my husband's family that lives in town. Four + beds and 4 bathrooms is a bonus luxury that many homes do not offer. There is even an out house bathroom with running water! Be advised that the host lives on the property and you will see him often. There is also a lot of extra stuff/clutter lying around so young children need to be closely supervised. We rented this space specifically because it was advertised as a place to hold events. We had 20 people for Easter dinner mostly outside in the covered carport. In the middle of the gathering we were told that the extra guests would incur an extra fee. That's fine but it would have been nice to know before hand.

Down on the bayou!

Our third trip/stay and cannot brag enough on this property. Clean, warm, inviting, and the host Thomas was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Charming place next to the cane fields

Older house with lots of cool antique knick knacks. Super comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms super functional. Would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful!! So peaceful and tranquil. Tom, the owner was so nice and friendly and so easy to deal with. We will definitely go back.

Blocked days are for cleaning, etc.....let us know if you need blocked dates..!....great for small receptions - new, large "carport" venue ! - extra fee applies !
